OK bought the 4ohm as a test speaker and now love it. I had a kicker 400W amp paired with a 2ohm kicker box. Speaker was very loud on bass type music. Really 2 loud. On non-base music the 2ohm just seem lacking and very punchy. Figured I'd buy this one as the box itself is worth 100$. wow this speaker is nice. after testing was going to replace it with some name-brand 4ohm but now it sounds so good I'm just going to keep it. I'll keep my 2ohm Kicker as a backup. Old: kicker 2ohm @ 300W RMS New Rockville 4ohm @ 150W RMS we will see if she last. I did spend an extra 10$ on Amazon 2yr warranty. ... show more

It might have been me but I thought I ordered a different one out of the 3 styles you can order, there was one that didn't show ohm one that said 2 ohm and a 4 ohm, there wasn't much a price difference but I always go for 2ohm and I got the lower one. It's a lot of trouble to return items where I live because you have to go to next county. For the price it does decent but a 2ohm there is a difference. If your looking for loud system with thump this is it. The 2ohm would give you more bass. The three stars is for sending the 0ohm ... show more

I bought thus enclosure because it had the specs I wanted for my 12 alpine s2. It would fit the sub without the trim ring. I had to extensively modify the front to get the trim and grill on. It sounds good but not great this way. Not too much better than the sub it came with, just louder. I'm gonna switch to a sealed box as i miss the clean bass. This box had a delay like it had to load up for fast bass with the alpine. I didn't like it. This is a good sub and box. Just might not want to swap the sub out IMHO. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Thought this would be great and maybe this is a one off but it caught fire from inside the speaker after having it for 3 days. Scary moment for sure and will not buy again.
