Rockville is the best car audio bargain 1 stop shop. I got the 12” 2 ohm and I have the Boss 1100 M amp that pushes 1100 watts @2 ohm and 550 @ at 4 ohm had it for over 2 years running 2 and 4 ohm and have swapped it around vehicle’s it’s so good I bought another one a year later to have on hand to replace. If you do purchase the amp don’t get frustrated when first hook up if not putting out the power turn volume down about 10-12 and start flipping buttons once I did that to mine it’s been a solid amplifier !saw some bad reviews about amp i believe that was there problem.. But all jokes aside if you want some amazing BASS then go with this sub 2 ohm and be patient breaking it in multiple hrs!! Easy and it’s going to blow you mind!!! Sub is rated for 1400 max and 700 watt Programed amp is throwing the whole 1100 watts at it and it likes it!! But I recommend BOSS & Rockville products honest company’s budget Bass great products if not abused. Also if you get the 12” box is A monster bigger than expected but great fit in back corner of my 2010 scion xB and it “pounds” so hard I’m worried about back glass exploding so tuned it down gonna turn it around face sub against back of seat think that will solve that problem then I can tune amp back up and show off my budget BASS just over $200 thank you Boss and Rockville for this set up for a music lover…. ... show more

Got a True Rockford fosgate 1400 watt amp. I'm not using all of it obviously, but what I am using is rocking my Jeep! Had a pile driver or two 8-in before this, what a joke compared to this. Hey guys this is like buying a punch or an old school JBL. In one word solid! Love it can't wait till summer!

I have this woofer at 2400 watts in my other car..in a box that is so small that I had to force the woofer to fit and it still hits and has good deep sound...and handles the power all day...so I got this one for my 2nd car...I went lower watt just because I'm sold on this brand and the price is good...I'm not worried at all if I will hurt it .... ... show more
