Phenomenal little subwoofer kit! All-in-all Ill give it a 5 (4.5 but cant do half stars) - Read full description as to why. Installed this in my car paired to a Pioneer head unit, for the price this thing hits WAY harder than I expected it to! Installation was simple, they provided everything necessary for a clean install including zip ties, wire ends, etc. The installation wiring kit is 16' which makes it perfect for running this subwoofer anywhere in your car, so while I did not install this under my seat, the wiring was plenty long enough to run it right into my trunk with probably 2-3' of excess. The product design is durable imo, its made of metal and has decent weight to it, but it will fit pretty much anywhere you need it to and in terms of compatibility, I'd say its compatible with most if not all head units. The ONLY thing I don't like is when youre running it for awhile, the casing gets quite hot, I would suggest maybe adding some cooling fans/breather holes to the design to help displace the heat it generates. Purchasers be advised this thing gets HOT under use (I tested it for about an hour) ... show more

Outstanding for the price. I have a convertible Mustang GT and the Shaker 500 sounded thin. This self powered subwoofer was easy to install and really rounded out the sound. It feels very sturdy amd I am extremely impressed what a difference it makes

This compact subwoofer sounds great and is priced perfectly for my budget. I compared it directly to the Kicker 51HS10 and noticed no significant difference in performance, sound, or build quality. For the price, this unit was the clear winner. Its compact size allows it to fit snugly under the driver's seat of my 2025 Toyota Camry, and the included wiring kit provided everything needed for installation. It delivers punchy bass that significantly upgrades the stock radio experience with a nice extra oomph, though you should not expect deep, window-rattling bass. I docked the review by one star due to misleading marketing regarding the 800-watt peak power claim, but I would gladly buy this product again. ... show more

    • I think it's a good buy.
Great little upgrade to my factory sub. I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with the Alpine system. This box doesn't fit very well where the original one sits. The floor does bend over it though and keeps it in place. I wired it to the high input, auto power off and ran the remote wire instead. As far as sound, it doesn't pick up the lower frequencies very well (40hz-60hz). it does sound good and completely changed the way all my music sounded. I did have to do a lot of tuning from the stereo after tuning the amp and little by little, it's sounding better and better with adjustments here and there. The reason for all the tuning is because I have a Phoenix Tesla style stereo and it has a ridiculous equalizer and I don't understand all that stuff. I'll get it right eventually. I don't regret buying this and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a tiny bit more power over stock. You'll definitely feel the difference, but you won't be rattling anything outside. This was probably the fastest and easiest wiring I've ever done on any aftermarket system. I just hope it lasts a good while. It looks high quality, but for this price, it's always something to question. ... show more

The bass line in my truck is way better now, nice and deep, its not too loud, it fits right under the back seat of my f150. And i love the volume control i have with it.
