Very impressive for what it is. It has much more sound than we expected. Solid choice for a cheaper upgrade to your sound system. It isn't a good choice if you want to rattle the entire block but it sounds good in the cab.

    • Amazing sound. My car audio couldn’t sound any better.
I installed this active subwoofer in my classic car, a 33-year-old E-Class convertible, and despite everyone insisting I needed to replace the stock speakers and add a separate amplifier, I believed otherwise. The stock speakers are fine—they just were never designed for today’s bass-heavy music. My theory was that if the deep bass tones were handled by the subwoofer alone, the system would perform well. And I was right. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. The original speakers now sound crisp and clear, and the entire car has a rich, deep bass that enhances any type of music. I could not be happier. I did not even tweak the subwoofer’s settings—once installed and powered on, it sounded incredible. I keep the remote power at its lowest setting, and it still delivers excellent results. Some say this subwoofer is just “okay” and too weak to make windows vibrate. My experience has been completely different—if you want vibrations, you can get them. In fact, you can make the whole car vibrate. Five stars from me. I just hope it lasts, but it feels solid and has a nice weight to it. ... show more

The bass output on this sub totally blew me away! I did not expect it to be anything special because of the price and size. I put this under the bench seat in my Ram 2013 Ram 1500 truck, and it can rattle the windows sometimes! Very solid build quality, and very easy to install. I love the included remote bass control knob with the blue power light. It also outputs very clean bass once you adjust your gain properly. I would highly recommend this to anyone! ... show more

Pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. Don't expect it to win you any sound competitions but will give you the added bass that most non Bose systems need. All the high level inputs need to be hooked up in proper order for the best sound. Also I don't think that the wattage advertised in correct. Back in the day we used to run 150 watt Punch amps with Rockford Fosgate 10 inch subs and they would rattle the carport at the Sonic Drive in where the manager would tell us to turn it down 😆 ... show more

This subwoofer does a phenomenal job filling in the low end sound my stock system was missing! Crisp and punchy which I wanted due to the small amount of space I had! Fit perfectly right under my 14 CRV and with the remote wire wired it will indeed turn on and off by itself. Looking forward to many years of clean bass from this product! I could not speak more highly of this. For all the people who say this won't shake your windows doesn't have it tuned right. This thing kicks and sounds beautiful. Tbh who the heck wants 2 12in subs that sound like garbage? Real audiophiles appreciate the low mass of the 10in sub for punchy and accurate bass lines. This sub flows perfectly with the speakers. That being said tho, routing the 8g wire from the battery to under the seat is not an easy task. You need to find the wiring grommet and get it through under the dash. Your hands will be bleeding everywhere. Worth it tho? 1000% ... show more

This is the powered subwoofer to buy. So easy to set this up if you are installing them under your front seat. The box that this sub is incased in is really durable. It is a bit on the heavy side but it's a metal box so you'd kinda have to expect that. The box itself is about 3 inches tall which you really can't get much smaller then that in my opinion, anything small I would have to say isn't going to produce a good clean bass punch. It's nice having the option to run RCA cables or hook up the high end of it so it's very versatile with all head units. 1 box hooked up sounds good, but hooking two under both front seats brought an amazing next level sound to my vehicle. ... show more
