I installed this in a 2004 Dodge Ram truck. Took out an old pioneer CD player. Bought the accompanying dash kit and wiring harness and this thing hooked right up. Love the volume knob on the side and the interface is super easy to use. I emailed the company and they sent me the updated firmware and the Dodge Ram logo that I uploaded in a couple minutes and that was really easy. One important thing, if you want the initial start up screen and the wallpaper to show your cars logo, you need to tell them that. The first time I just said send me the wallpaper, after I installed it it still said the name of the stereo at the beginning and then eventually it showed the car logo. I emailed them to ask about why it wasn’t at the very beginning and they said you have to ask for that, so they sent me a new file that did both the initial start up and the wallpaper. There communication was awesome! Overall very happy with this product... I can't believe this thing was under $150! Total game changer for my truck. Took maybe 1.5 hours to install but I could do it again in probably 30 minutes. Dash kit took a little bit of figuring out. Having Apple Car Play is huge! Now I have WAZE maps on my dash instead of on my phone, spotify works awesome, and this thing is bluetooth so now I can answer my phone from the unit and talk through unit's microphone and hear people in my truck's speakers. This thing moved my truck way up to 2020! Couple other items of note... The side brackets take some trial and error when screwing them onto the unit and making the unit sit flush with my dash kit. You just have to keep adjusting it and I had to snip off some parts of plastic on the side brackets and make a couple other small adjustments inside the dash that you'd never see. My screen looked like it had a protective film over it with some bubbles but I couldn't tell if that was the actual screen or it had a cover. I emailed them and they said the protective film could be removed... so happy those bubbles weren't on the screen! Sound quality is much better than the old Pioneer CD player! I did not hook up the backup camera yet because I need to figure out what hole to poke it through to the underside of the car.

Bought this product for my 2008 Corolla. I was sceptical due to the price point but decided to try it. So glad I did. Installation was extremely simple ( I did use a youtube video for guidance as this was my first stereo install) and the instructions were straight forward. This is a great option for people who want carplay or android in their vehicle without breaking the bank. The backup Camera is really good quality! Bluetooth connectivity is very fast and works seamlessly. Customer support is excellent! Follow the instructions to contact them and they quickly get back to you. Free software update and you can choose 4 logos. You can also send them 4 photos of your choice (they have to be a certain size) and they will send you a link to download to a blank USB card. Follow the instructions in the email and its an easy upgrade. Only thing that I would liked to see fixed in a new update is that the volume/mute will not work when the backup camera is on. It's a minor issue but would be nice to be able to adjust the volume as my son is learning to drive. All-in-all this is a great stereo. I did get an adapter kit for my vehicle as you will for any vehicle. Highly recommend this product!

The headline says it all. You cannot really ask for more for this price. I'll be more specific in pros/cons section: Pros: - price for a touchscreen - easy installation. As long as you have hands and a brain it is easy. All wiring is color standarized. Mounting clips - throw them in the trash right away, you should have a dashboard kit ordered for your vehicle. Mounting depth gave me a bit of a problem, but that is car specifics and has nothing to do with the unit itself. - Carplay support - is a blessing and a curse. As I'm in 'pros' section, let's say it is nice to have Carplay on the aftermarket unit. - Software support - I read somewhere that you can change your 'turn on screen logo' (the one that pops up on a screen when you put ignition key in). I contacted company's support and they sent me an update within 1 day. All I had to do is download it on the flash drive and stick it in the unit.. bam... I had a car logo on the screen every time I turned the car on. It feels like an original screen this way, instead of random company name. - Receiving sound - I'll clarify: during the call my voice is transmitted perfectly to the other person on the call (my friend gave this unit a credit as we spoke on the phone) without any additional microphones. The rest of the sound quality will go into the 'cons' section. Cons: - sound - my biggest disappointment. So where to start... Put it this way, in a Carplay mode, you are listening to your favorite music at level 10/40, someone calls you, you pick up but can't hear s...t, you put volume up all the way to 40/40 just to have a comfortable conversation, you talk, then you hang up and the second after you hung up, your speakers are going bananas along with your heart rate if you are not fast enough to bring volume down to 10/40. And this is every time when you need to call someone. Then, God forbid you will unplug your phone from Carplay before you shut down your car, the built-in radio volume level is higher than Carplay, like a lot higher, like 10/40 is way to loud, I would say 3-5 for radio. - sound control knob - I wish they would design this a bit bigger because you need to search for it every time. - 7" screen - maybe I'm picky, but the screen is too small for any GPS Carplay program. You barely can see the exit's number or read anything on a screen. Also, if you are using Waze for example, report buttons are so small that you cannot even hit them while you are driving (take into consideration that I have fairly small fingers). - company's logo is visible on the trim of the unit - personally don't like it - unit shut down on me a couple of times while driving, not a big deal but could be worst depending on the situation. Definitely glitching once in a while, the restart button helps every time. - USB port is on the front of the unit - for me personally it is just poor design (even though I saw it when I bought it), they could definitely get another port from the back of the unit. 4 stars - not a bad unit, sound is the biggest issue
