Great radio for the price, we installed it in a 2006 Toyota Corolla and it fit perfectly. The wiring took some time to complete and getting the camera installed was a little difficult just due to the design of the car, not the camera itself. Overall the radio serves the purpose of providing Apple car play and being able to listen to Pandora when needed. The Apple car play doesn't work like the newer cars do, it mimics your phone like connecting it to a computer, so be mindful of that but works just fine. Bluetooth to your phone works but the sound quality isn't the best. Overall for what we paid for this radio, it surprised us with it's overall capability of what we needed.

UPDATE: Dead after 4 months. Plugged up to a 12V DC power supply, draws 0.04A, does nothing. Garbage. Do not buy. --- Fits OK in a 2001 Toyota RAV4. Assuming you have the same car generation, make sure you buy a Metra 70-1761 too, so that way you don't rip up your precious radio harness. Only 1 wire won't match (the Dimmer wire on the radio.) Had to leave the "back in", "brake" and "key 1" pins without a connection because those have no equivalent on this model of car. Didn't need to ground them. Had to use the bracket from the old radio. There is a gap on both sides (see pic) - unfortunately there is no shroud that I could find online for this model of car. Maybe 3D print something if you're that worried about it, but after all, it's a 22 year old car, who cares?

Wiring was good. Keep in mind "back in" is the reverse trigger from your factory harness. In my case the Metra XSVI-6522 kit for my 2008 Jeep Commander which lets me retain my CAN-bus factory things. So the "back-in" pink goes to my Metra Purple wire. Save me from jumping the little red wire off the camera feed to the back-up bulb in the tail lite. All I had to do then was wire the +/- to the reverse light and voila it worked since my "reverse" trigger is off the factory harness up front. 👍 To set the clock time on this stereo you have to go to the home screen settings and "swipe" LEFT to bring up the calc clock and some other things (see pics above). Clock can be set 24/12 hr mode and date can be set also. It does have an illumination wire also so make sure to try and find one on your factory or adapter harness, this will allow stereo to "dim" some when the lights are on at night so the display doesn't blind you. I tried my Apple SE to do the "mirror" and the unit shut off and rebooted. I will stick with BlueTooth for now and call it good. Overall $70 total for my install and I am happy. Will report is any issues. If the unit kicks the bucket I will probably grab a Pioneer for like $250. Will come back in 6 months and report any changes as well.

I had to make modifications for install, which I knew was necessary abs would be for any other double din for my application. Some reviews claimed unit failed after a month of use. I'm only a week in, so fingers crossed it lasts. I'll start off with what I don't like. It beeps with the push of any button. Contacted customer support and was told that can't be changed. When reverse camera is activated, music stops. Contacted customer support, they say it can't be changed due to safety. The screen brightness can be dimmed manually through display settings but it is barely noticeable. Still very bright on dimmer setting. Customer support can only be contacted through Amazon, kind of annoying. Camera is low quality and cannot be adjusted easily. But it works. Cannot customize the screen at all. Kind of boring Unit is cheap, but seems to work for all practical purposes. Blue tooth connects and stays connected. Sound quality is decent on factory system. For a little more money you can roll the dice on a more user friendly unit in my opinion.

It's one month later and no issues with this product so far. I was impressed with the size and simplicity as well as the quality of the unit being a no metal design like my older factory stereo. Easy to navigate the controls (EQ VOL Phone call / receive modes) and quickly linked to my phone by bluetooth. My installer even made the comment he'd not seen one of these stereo replacements link so easily and quickly. I will keep you posted on future issues, if any, but I'm impressed with the sound and touchscreen for such an inexpensive product. Most other competitive stereos are not 60watt x 4 which = 240watts of power to the speakers so be sure to look for that, as it makes a big difference in sound quality. Till my next update, you might want to give this one a shot if on a budget and don't want a super expensive option. Cons: No WiFi No GPS but I didn't want it so no problems there.
