This screen was easy to install—just a wire harness, and it worked great. It fit my truck well, even though it originally didn’t have a screen, so I had to make a few adjustments. Once installed, it was perfect. The Bluetooth connectivity is solid, automatically pairing with my phone every time I start the car. The EQ adjustments allow for good sound customization, and the screen layout is intuitive. I specifically bought this for wireless Apple CarPlay, and it works flawlessly. Maybe once in 100 times, it won’t connect right away, but that only happens when I’m running multiple errands with frequent car restarts. One minor issue is that when my car starts, it connects to my phone but doesn’t always open Apple CarPlay automatically. Instead, it sometimes displays a basic media screen with my phone’s music, showing skip, pause, album art, and song info. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I’d prefer if it defaulted to CarPlay instead. Looks and works great. The unit fits right into the dash, and looks like it belongs there. Connects wirelessly to Android Auto, I have not had any connection issues. Unlike my previous 2023 Subaru, that required a cable to connect to android auto and it still didnt work. The sound quality is great!

I’ve been using the Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX for several months now, and it’s a solid upgrade for my car’s audio and entertainment system. The 6.8" capacitive touchscreen is vibrant and responsive, making it a breeze to navigate menus, use wireless Apple CarPlay, and stream music via Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent, thanks to the 13-band equalizer and high-quality audio components, which let me fine-tune the output to match my speakers perfectly. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work flawlessly, and the built-in Amazon Alexa is a nice touch for hands-free control. The L-shaped chassis made installation straightforward in my vehicle, and the included backup camera input is a handy feature for safer parking. However, there are a couple of things I wish were different, keeping it from a 5-star rating. First, I really wish it had a dedicated front camera input. Having only a rear-view camera input feels limiting, as a front camera would be great for tight parking or off-road situations. Second, the camera inputs are analog (RCA composite), and I’d prefer digital camera inputs for sharper, higher-resolution video. Analog works fine, but digital would be a step up in clarity, especially on such a nice display. Overall, the Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX is a fantastic multimedia receiver with great connectivity and sound. If you’re okay with just a rear camera and analog inputs, it’s a great choice. This unit is half baked. The icons on the left for menu, mic, and volume don't work. Getting a software update to transfer is impossible using the directions. Android Auto keeps crashing. When it does not crash, it is very frustrating to use. The users manual is lacking. When playing in Bluetooth music you cannot fast forward or advance whereas previous ones would allow me to touch the timeline to put the focus on where I wanted it USB instead of Wi-Fi connection doesn't work with Android auto Bluetooth does not reliably play audio after connecting. Generally the solution is to turn off the car and turn it back on. I wish there was a power button on the stereo unit itself to reboot the stereo without having to reboot the car. When in Bluetooth, Guidance is not a separate volume control. There's only one volume control for Bluetooth. However that is not using Android Auto.. With wireless disabled, connecting phone via USB cable, Android Auto stops functioning and indicates to get the time to match between the stereo and phone. The stereo does not allow me to manually change the time. And it will not sync the time with cell phone connected via USB. I clicked on the browser and it gave me a gray rectangular box across the screen. Turning off the car, even overnight, did not help. A day later, it came out of its coma somehow. These are just a few of the issues I’ve had. I called Pioneer support and they do not provide tech support on the phone. They said the only thing I can do is to uninstall the stereo and send it in to one of two service centers. My worst nightmare. I have 30 years of IT so I feel sorry for anyone who buys this flaming pile of crap and tries to get anything to work. ... show more

Android auto will not connect i have the usb connected from the phone to the stereo, it will charge the phone but the android auto icon won't light up and if I press it it just says connect to usb, which I already am. I paid extra to make sure I got a reputable brand and I'm fairly disappointed right now. UPDATE: changed to 5 stars. did some googling and found out i needed a cord that stated specifically that it was for data transfer. Got one for 13 bucks and everything works perfectly. This pushes really good sound to my speakers and has tons of customization on the equalizer. ... show more
