Great spare tire subwoofer!
This subwoofer is exactly what I needed for my 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5! It adds a noticeable amount of bass without being too much, and it has made listening to music in the car a lot more enjoyable. I originally planned to have it professionally installed, but after the first shop quoted me $350 just for the installation, I decided to tackle it myself. I took my time, watched a couple of YouTube videos, and AI came in handy too. I even ordered an inexpensive trim-removal kit to make the job easier. I also added some sound deadening sheets. I think the installation came out great! I haven’t had a subwoofer in a car since I was fresh out of high school, and I’m 50 now, so this definitely brings back some memories. My wife and I even rode around listening to music and making adjustments with the remote until we got it where we wanted it. She likes it a lot too! The seller was top-notch as well. It arrived earlier than expected, and although the listing said it was used, honestly, mine looked brand new. I’m very happy with the purchase. It’s been fun riding around and enjoying my music again with some real bass!

2022 Tiguan. Took some finesse. Once I got the nut and bolt situation figured out, the long metric bolt it comes with was too long, so it had to be cut. Easy stuff. Wired everything through the car, the wiring kit is top notch. The bass remote is dope af. The sound coming from my car sounds night and day better. I outfitted the rest of the car with kicker tweeters, kicker door speakers, and a kicker amp. Wanted to see if this was worth the almost 5 star reviews. Damn, right now. It sounds so good with The Dynospectrum playing. Those low bass hits and snares. Let me stop rambling. Just buy it. Worth every dollar.

If you're not sure, buy it!
I hardly leave reviews unless something blows me away, and this little sub did just that. I have a 2025 Mazda 3 hatchback with the trash stock 6 speaker system that had basically zero bass. I was truly looking for the Cerwin Vega shallow sub because I heard it's better. After waiting and waiting for it to be in stock, the company not answering my emails, I decided to bite the bullet and buy this Rockville one, even though most people said to stay away from Rockville for some reason. This is my first purchase from them. When I say I was BLOWN AWAY by the sound of this thing, it's truly a game changer from my stock speaker system. Now don't get me wrong, you're not gonna be rattling windows of buildings. You can barely even hear it outside the car. But you will feel the bass inside your car. My mirrors shake. The seats vibrate. Drums can be felt in your chest. It bumps for a little sub. I have the gain at about the 12 o'clock position, and the bass boost all the way down. It blends perfectly with my stock speakers which is exactly what I wanted. Installation was a breeze, but I think that's just because my car was easy to work with. This goes for all 2020+ Mazda's from what I can find. Ones that have the factory Bose system are a little different though. Check YouTube for some install videos. My only "complaint" really would be that the wiring kit that it comes with doesn't come with any extra crimp connectors. I messed up the power cable's crimp and I had to go run to the store and buy a new one. Would be nice if they just threw in some extra butt connectors and crimp connectors. However for the value I understand only giving the required amount. All the other spare tire subs out there you would have to buy your own wiring kit. The sound and value for your money are top notch here. I highly recommend buying it if you're on the fence about it. I can't speak to longevity yet since I've only had it for two weeks, but I did also buy the warranty from Amazon just in case it breaks. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Clear deep bass
Well worth its price, fits right in my 2010 Nissan 370Z. Easy install, adjustment control is pretty cool, and sounds really good. Much clearer and deeper then expected. Very happy happy with this purchase.

Cost-effective way to covertly add a sub to your car.
The skinny: This is a sub/amp combo It fits in a 16" rim It connects to either a sub pre-amp output or can be wired into the rear speakers of your car. It needs the remote control at least plugged in. Rockville RockGhost V2 sub review: I really wanted to add some bass to my 2001 Highlander "runabout" but didn't want to go down the rabbithole of sourcing a sub, box and amp to accomplish this. Originally I tried to install a similar setup from a Nissan Murano but the Nissan/Bose curse struck again and the amp didn't work. So in searching for a replacement I discovered the RockGhost, In my case, a perfect alternative. Installation: Pretty straightforward. Run your power wire, ground, RCA sub out cable, remote wire and the controlpad. My battery is in the engine compartment so it took me a couple of hours to route the wires through the car and hide everything. Performance: If you are just looking for something to fill in the low-end of your system and be hidden or doesn't take up cargo capacity this is what you're looking for. If you're looking for something to shatter the neighbor's windows as you drive by, this won't do it. Well, you could throw it through their window, but that may get expensive after a while. Likes: Compact and hidden Includes all the wiring you need. I do suggest using some higher-grade connectors Fits inside the spare tire Remote is handy for adjustments Dislike: The remote is a bit on the bulky side. Do I recommend this? Yes, it's a nice cost-effective sub that doesn't take up valuable space in your car.

Nice. very surprised how good it sounds at this price point. not a window shaker but adds a nice deep hit. be realistic with expextations, take the time to set it up properly and dpnt just max out thr bass boost...lol you will be happy with it

Totally worth it
My Nissan 370z came with a 5" Bose sub in the spare tire, and it's so anemic you can hardly tell the difference between plugged in and unplugged. It's that bad. I had tempered expectations of this unit, particularly at this price point, but I just can't afford a Cerwin Vega or JBL right now, so I gave it a try, and it has blown me away since I installed it. This sub won't knock the wind out of you, and it might not even piss your neighbors off that much, but it has enough oomph to round out the sound of some decent stock to even aftermarket mids. You'll feel it for sure, and as long as you're not trying to win any contests, you'll definitely be pleased with it

Best bang for the buck. 2021 Nissan rogue sport
Great entry sub. Fit perfectly in my wife's 2021 Nissan rogue sport. The factory system didn't sound good. I installed kicker speakers. Helped some. The sub really helped it all around. Only have it about a quarter of the way up. Pretty powerful for what it is and for the price. Also, helped with putting heavy things in the back and not having it cave in the spare tire spot. Had Best Buy install it for about $150. The installer thought it was pretty cool it had the amp integrated in it and the construction of it. Only thing I dislike was the wing nut for the sub hold down. I found the thread pitch and ordered a M8-1.25 knurled thumb nut from Amazon for around $8 for a pack of 5 unfortunately. The wing nut was about 1/2 in long. The knurled thumb nut was about half of that. 1/2 tall. Had to cut about 1-3/4 in of the end of the rod for it the clamp the sub down. Did that before I took it to Best buy to test fit it to make sure it would work. Great all around product for the money. Got everything done for around $400. JBL has a similar system. But, starts around $550.
