I have to say this thing is really Impressive. I got it because I used to have two 12" kicker comps in my lancer small space and they moved massive air. I was looking for something to either come close to OR ever better. And I have to say this 1 single 10" is very impressive. I just installed it almost a week ago now. So the break in period is still there. But so far this little sub is awesome it's perfect because I can actually hear everything in the song and the bass is still deep and heavy just as I like. With the two kickers I had I could barely hear anything but my truck being abused to hell. Now it's so nice I already had everything hush matted so it actually works really well this this 10". I have a Rockford fosgate amplifier pushing my two 12"s. The 1200 watt prime 2 channel. I'm using the Rockford fosgate 500 watt prime mono on this set up and it's perfect just like the reviews I read state. I read every review In here and hardly any were negative Or had bad things to say. Im super happy with all my purchases from amazon oh and this thing is in a Q Bomb box ported. Installed in an access cab Tacoma in a sealed box 2 .94 cu ft. This sub slams. Period. I have owned the P3S (shallow mount) and I thought that sub was amazing. The full size did not disappoint. I run it with the Rockford Fosgate R500X1D 500W RMS Prime Series Class D Monoblock Amplifier. It came with a birth sheet of 603 Watts RMS! NOTE: IF YOU PLAN TO RUN THIS AMP, GET THE 4 OHM. (ask me how I know.. hah!) I have used a number of brands over the years, but I keep coming back to RF as I feel they are best constructed audio equipment for the price. ... show more

I'll keep this review short, as it compliments the other 5 star reviews. I just pulled my new type S Alpine after 3 weeks. Was not getting that punchy bass that I like. This sub is massive compared to the new Alpine type S. I wired this 2ohms to a RF prime 500 rms amp. All I have to say is RF has finally gotten back to its glory days. If you remember the first gen punch amps and speakers from the early 90's, then you know what talking about. Absolutely the best bang for your buck. This sub absolutely blows Alpine and the other subs out of the water. I'm so much happier with this RF10. My ears are picky. They want that chest pounding thump, but clarity to enjoy any genre of music. I listened to everything from Dianna Krall, The Eagles, to old school NWA. If you have an eclectic taste in music, then stop reading the reviews and buy this sub. If you don't agree, send it back to Amazon. They have the best return policy in earth! The RF 500 prime is a perfect amp for this sub. My prime was birthed at 638 w rms. If you listen to mostly bass heavy music, then go with a 1.0 cube ported box. If you want tight accurate bass, then go with a 1.25 sealed box. Mine is a 1.0 ported box, that sits on the floor behind the passenger seat. I cant be happier. Oh, and RF includes some knarly ass torque screws with a driver bit. The metal trim ring is a nice finishing touch. ... show more

I could not have made a better choice in Subwoofers. If you like a nice crisp snap to your base you will love this speaker. Oh they will rumble if you hit them with a lower Hz, but what I like is a crisp base. Some Subs will only rumble. These will do what ever it is that you want out of them. LOVE THEM! ... show more

I'm running two of these on a Rockford power 1000bd in a vented box in the trunk on my 94 cobra. I've had many 10's over the years always running in pairs, but hands down these two pound harder and cleaner than any I've ever owned. I like all types of music and i haven't found any they don't compliment nicely. They rock great and if you want to just pound crazy hard they will not disappoint. I'm super pleased with them, they hit so hard they make my hair move and skin tingle. Spend the money cuz you get what you pay for with these ... show more

Since I have a convertible, I don't have alot of trunk space. I had looked at several different space saving options for adding some bass to my factory stereo, but I decided I'd sacrifice space for bass. My plan was to install one of these subs, and if not satisfied, simply add a second one. Well I'm happy to say that one of these does the job just fine.
