This is a beautiful lamp. Nice quality and workmanship. Lamp shade is of great quality, not too thin or thick and the light pattern in the shade blends perfectly with the decor in my living room. Shade/top of lamp were very easy to assemble. The warm brown wood in the lamp base blends nicely with other maple wood furniture I have in this living room. This is a beautiful lamp. Not only is in a functional piece of furniture, but it is beautiful enough to be a piece of art. Especially pretty is the light inside the colorful body of the lamp. When both the lamp and the "body" lamp are turned on, it is an exceptional piece. If you are looking for lots of light--this isn't what you need. When I set this lamp up in my living room, it just made such a difference in the room. The room had a dark corner that I was trying to add some light to. This lamp did that plus it is so beautiful that this dark corner became a bright focal point for the room. It is so well made, beautiful and bright! I highly recommend this lamp! ... show more

    • PRODUCT INCLUDES WARNING ABOUT LEAD
This is a stunning lamp, and I was entirely pleased with it. It arrived in flawless condition. The shade is beautiful and has a wonderful texture. The base has a nightlight. It looks beautiful in my living room, and matches my mission end table completely. HOWEVER, the manufacturer has included a warning to inform the customer this lamp contains lead, which has been know to cause cancer and birth defects. After on-line research regarding lead toxicity, I am fairly confident in this product's safety, and I intend to purchase another one to add symmetry and balance to my living room. ... show more

    • Pretty, but wood is very orange.
I'm keeping the lamp, but plan to paint the "orange" tone wood with Oil Rubbed Bronze Paint. I know I will like it better that way. I may post a photo when I'm done. Everything else about the lamp is very nice. I did have to bend things a bit to fit straight and tighten up the main bolt through the middle to secure it. The shade is a perfect tone to match my decor when it is not light and at night is plenty bright with a 60 watt bulb. I like the option of keeping the base night light on without the upper having to be on. I'm not sure It's worth the $150 I paid since I have to make adjustments, but all-in-all, I'm ok with my purchase. ... show more

This is a gorgeous lamp! The stained glass base is very pretty, with nice lines, a tall vase shape. The wood base is well-made and feels solid. I’m very happy snd plan to get another one. I thought the “faux” leather shade would be dark and feel like plastic, but it’s lovely, and feels silky. See the close-up.     • Very nice lamp
This lamp is a little bigger than I thought it would be, which is fine. The shade is gorgeous. The base is only eight inches, which means there is a lot of room on the end table, and yet not tippy. Years ago, I had purchased a table and a floor lamp from Cabelas, that both had a night light feature, and I really like that. The Cabela lamp night lights no longer work, sadly. We have a big open living space, and at night I don’t want to turn on a light to walk through, this works great. So far, just using a sixty watt led light bulb for reading and it seems fine. ... show more
