Really pleased. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Assembled easily. Has about an 8” vertical adjustment which is easy to set, but need to feed or pull cord as you adjust the height because it fits snugly. The base is heavy enough that the lamp is quite stable. A real plus is that it takes a standard socket bulbs, giving an almost unlimited selection of lumen output and color temperature. We choose a long antique appearing, 3000K bulb for a very warm look, but fixed LED lights are VERY white and smaller sockets don’t have the range of choices. We got the antique brass finish and it looks quite good. My wife shopped some big name stores and found really over-priced lamps that didn’t look any better. We found this to be a good product at a fair price. ... show more

    • Wish the arm didn't droop...

This is a really nice, functional floor lamp, which is extremely easy to put together. The couplings are sturdy and screw together tightly. The base is well weighted so it will not tip over. The height is adjustable so you can raise it to accommodate the height of the reader. But I am deducting one star because even though the lamp itself is straight, the extension arm holding the shade droops, making the whole lamp look like it is listing. I'm going to keep it because the light it gives off and the height are perfect for the chair and room, but the listing is rather annoying to look at. So if you want this for a special place in your living room, you might need to look for a more expensive lamp, but for a den or bedroom this is excellent. ... show more

Nothing to dislike about this lamp there is an easy to access switch under the shade to turn on and off The chord comes out of the bottom so not hanging down the side. Base is heavy and stable. I got the brass finish and love it its a brushed brass. Highly recomme d the lamp. Easy to put together.
