Overall, this was the right choice for me and I'm glad I purchased... PROS: - Solid construction - Easy installation - can be placed quickly at any toilet CON: With the gray foot stabilizer in the DOWN position, the unit is not deep enough front to back. The catch is the unit is a lot more stable with the gray foot stabilizer down. Because it not deep enough for my toilets, the toilet seat cannot be lifted and remain resting against the tank; instead the toilet seat hits the back bar of the RMS frame and must be balanced if you don't want it to fall. With the gray stabilizer in the UP position, there is some side-to-side movement of each grab bar - IF you push off it to the side or at an angle. If you are lowering yourself and raising yourself directly up and directly down, then even with the gray stabilizer in the "up" position, the grab bars are still very stable. OTHER NOTES: Overall, very good product. To make it perfect for me, I might just cut out another inch deeper well into gray foot stabilizer so that the unit fits my toilets and can retain optimal stability. It would be ideal if there was a depth adjustment on the unit for different depth toilets.

Upon discharge from the hospital for back surgery, they gave me a Porta-Potty. Ugh! So awkward to use. I found this "toilet frame" and it is WONDERFUL! It sets around your own toilet, regular or elongated (mine is elongated), provides a wider space for your legs, and it allows you to "go" normally. Use this when needed, or leave it there permanently for use daily. You could even take it on trips (by car) for hotels when they provide only the standard low toilet. It's the best!

Great to open the box and have it ready to go. Fit both of our very different toilets, both older and with different clearance around the toilets; one ordinary shaped seat, the other an elongated oval seat. Was easy to move from one bathroom to another. Adjustable height if needed. Foldable option is very convenient, with quick and easy set up. Ordering a second one for the 2nd bathroom as it folds and stores easily. Soft foam layer at top of side bars for grip. Seems very sturdy and steady support for 200lb person.

Importantly to get on the toilet and off of it without falling is critical and although this devise is big, it does the job without fail. It’s steady and dependable for those that are balanced challenged or operate with one leg impaired. Highly recommended.
