  • Mom loves it Butt
Style: Elongated
I purchased this for my mom who is quite tall and has a great deal of trouble.... Well I'm just going to be blunt, getting up and down for these new toilets that were apparently made for people under 5 feet tall! I'm 5'6 and some days it's a struggle. Well let me just tell you this thing was a knee/back/hip/shoulder saver! No more struggling to haul her almost 6 foot self up off the throne! Happy momma happy me. The only down side to it, as I discovered today is that, apparently bodily functions will make their nasty way between it and the bowl.... eewwww! And the only way to clean it is to completely remove the seat.... again eeeewwww! I recommend a hazmat suit for those with delicate sensibilities. Don't let that affect your decision to purchase because it really is a great solution for todays tiny toilets! ... show more

  • ideal after back surgery
Style: Rounded
I am glad this arrived just two days after my surgery . I was able to tell the difference! It is the perfect height and fit. I will keep it long run, even after healing. I took off one star because I do not use the side metal hand supports ( The surgeon recommended not using the force of my arms to stand back up) but that means that there are two ugly holes. A simple optional plastic cover would have been nice. ... show more

  • Use foam tape!
Style: Elongated
I'm 6 weeks post-hip replacement and I still have this on my toilet because it's so comfortable; I removed the other one one (not the same brand) from my other toilet downstairs. One reviewer mentioned putting foam tape on the bottom of it, and I think that helped with the stability of the seat on the toilet. I'm a 66 yr. old woman, and it took me about 5 minutes to put it on, no issues. ... show more

  • Very Helpful Product. One Issue on Installation
Style: Elongated
I knew we needed the added height. I didn't realize how much we needed the side handles. They are very helpful and eliminate, at least for now, the need to install grab bars by the toilet. The installation instructions assumed that the existing seat was installed with a bolt passing through from above. Ours was attached using a threaded rod up from underneath. The supplied hardware included a 6 inch bolt. I took the original threaded rod to the hardware store and got two 6 inch threaded rods that matched the diameter and threading. Then installed using those rods and the hardware that came with the existing seat. Didn't use any of the hardware that came with the riser. NOTE: Using different hardware may defeat some of the weight or safety claims for the riser. We have had no problems, so we bought a second one and installed it the same way, also with no problems so far. ... show more

  • Great idea
Style: Elongated
Once again, I bought this for my husband after he had knee replacement surgery and it made him so much easier to go to the bathroom and get up and down off the toilet without straining his knee too much. I would highly recommend it for anyone who has had knee replacement, surgery, or hip replacement surgery ... show more

  • Perfect
Style: Elongated
After purchasing hand rails for regular toilet seat, and raised toilet seat of which I could not return, this is the best alternative and checks all the boxes. My mom really likes its' functionality and allows her to feel safe and supported. Installation is a bit challenging, but nothing somebody can't handle. ... show more

  • Raised toilet seat
Style: Elongated
The lift supports are a big plus, help alot and the height of the seat it perfect. I like that you connect it to the commode with the bolts creates extra security some seats don't.

  • Sturdy
Style: Elongated
I like that you can sit on your toilet seat, be higher off the ground, and have handles that aid in getting up. It’s what I would call a high end toilet riser. It doesn’t look geriatric.
