Unit was very easy to assemble, with clear instructions, and seems very sturdy. BUT, most regrettably, it would not fit a standard Kohler toilet with an integrated tank where the tank slopes up from the bowl seamlessly. The holes for the seat/lid are simply too close to the tank, leaving no room for the bracket pipe. And flipping the rear bracket around so that you insert the A-arm into the B-hole and vice-versa does not work because then the seat would rest on the rear bracket pipe. So, no alternative but to return the thing for a refund and look for something else. Sad, because I really liked this design.

Super-easy to assemble and quite stable. My 10-year old daughter (90 lbs) had surgery on both her knees and could not bend her knees for some time. This toilet rail saved my back. I still had to provide support for my daughters legs, but the arm rails allowed her to easily lower herself down by using her upper body strength. I (155 lbs) also tried the safety frame and found it to be quite stable. Make sure to buy BEFORE surgery and have available from day one! By the way, the surgery is for knock knees and allows the legs to be straightened in a least invasive manner. Glad we did the surgery.

These were recommended by OT after my mother fell and was doing rehab at home. They are very sturdy and my mother is not a small woman. They do not interfere with her ability to get the walker close. Her caregiver said she would like to have them on her toilet for when her back hurts. I didn't rate them on assembly because I didn't attach them. However, my husband who is very handy didn't comment on having any difficulty.

make sure it fits ALL the dimensions for your toilet..I got this for my mother at the direction of her nurses....it did NOT fit her toilet so I had to modify it with a grinder and and and....its only because Im a builder I was able to make it work.......just check all the specs and make sure it works with your dimensions....
