The toilet safety rail is great for seniors. It comes with the rails assembled and all that needs to be done is connect the two rails to the rails to support them in front and the stands on either side. All hardware needed is provided. Having hand holds to grab and assist with getting up from the toilet seat is great when there is nothing else to hold on to other than the toilet seat and installing grab bars is not possible for those with mobility issues. It looks a lot nicer than the "traditional" handicap toilet seat that has the disposable bucket for emptying for those who don't need a toilet near a bed and is much easier to move aside than a full handicap accessible toilet when not needed. ... show more

This unit arrived quickly and was very well packaged. It was easy to assemble and had a QR code with a video that showed step by step instructions. I ultimately had to return it and order a narrower unit. It was the perfect width for the cubby our toilet is tucked into, but the wing nuts that you put it together with screw in from the outside of the unit. It was too wide for our space by just those wing nuts. If you have a tight space to fit it into, measure carefully. The return request process was easy, I just wish it would have fit. When assembled, which was relatively easy, there’s little to no wobble when using the rails. Returned another product with suction cups in the rear,, which probably would’ve worked fine on a tile floor, but the textured floor in Mom‘s apartment would not keep suction.
