High quality materials and very sturdy. Photos show seat with and without arms. Purchased for my 92 YO mother that is coming to visit. The current toilet is only 14" high so it would have been impossible for her to use this. This design is sleek and beautiful. The arms come out so you can have a normal looking toilet if you do not always need the arms. We will keep the seat on (it was easy to install by the way) after my Mom leaves as it is much more comfortable and higher which we like. The seat, the feel of the seat when sitting, is very nicely formed and comfortable. The arms are wider than most which is what we needed. Highly recommend. ... show more

I am so very happy with everything about this riser w/hand rails. It installs just like a regular toilet seat so nice and secure. The whole thing raises up so guys can use like a normal toilet to stand and pee. It also has a lid which most don't. AND, it's super easy to access all the areas you need to keep clean (again, it installs/works just like a regular toilet seat so all you have to do is lift the seat to clean.) Size: Round Style: Seat
The riser fits well, very secure and stable, and it's an easy install even temporary. The riser has a funnel shape so even messy toilets are easy to clean up. It can be fitted with optional brace handles, but doesn't need them for most uses. The manufacturer has tried their best to fit both oval and round toilets, but measuring is essential. They offer both shapes with or without support handles. Please be aware that the riser is going to need clearance when folded back, so it fits against the toilet tank. If you have anything like a shelf or rack in front of the tank, it will not fold back properly, but can be secured in the "up" position with some care. ... show more

Would have given 4.5 stars instead of 4 if that were an option. Got this for my husband post knee replacement surgery. So easy for me to install. Only challenge was reaching under the seat with the provided tool. Very awkward and can’t see but I managed. Solid, sturdy design. Fits our elongated toilet perfectly. Wish handles gave better support/ less wobbly when the seat is up for him standing to use toilet. Only had a little urine escape down the side of toilet once while seated. Could use a little longer splash guard in front but again, only happened once so far. Very pleased with the product. Cleans up easily as well. Highly recommend. ... show more

What a great toilet seat. I bought this for my mother. She was having difficulty getting up from the toilet and she can't have knee replacement surgery due to her health. My mom likes her independence so asking for assistance is not her strong suit. This toilet seat helps her keep her independence. This seat is wide, has 3" of added height, it's extremely sturdy, easy to install, and looks great. I love the wide rim which catches any splashes. Bought this for my mom who is in her 80's & has bad knees. Gives her a few extra inches in height so easier to get up & down. The handles are a must as she isn't very steady on her feet so she transfers from her walker & grabs the handles. I believe it helps keep her safe.
