Look, I'm REALLY sensitive to taste, and my biggest concern when my doc told me to start a multivitamin was the taste. All the multivitamin reviews pointed me to Ritual. I was so worried that they would taste like minty fish instead of just fish, but I was wrong. I'm not going to lie, I do occasionally get a hint of bad taste, but not frequently enough or badly enough to dissuade me from taking them. I just try to take them really quickly. I also have IBS and I havent noticed more frequent episodes, stomach issues, or heartburn. I take them before bed, so I'm not sure if that changes anything. They are regular sized capsules, and very easy to use. Not that its relevant, but they are very pretty pills haha

Overall I like this vitamin. It does not upset my stomach at all, however like others I do burp fish after taking them even when taken with a meal. I’m on the fence about repurchasing as I don’t think I can get used to the constant fish burps

I just started taking this last month. I feel amazing, energy that last all day, I feel so much better. I started working out and changing my eating habits in January and started losing hair from the shock of the weight loss, although I did it slow, my body still reacted because I wasn't getting enough nutrients. It's too soon to tell if it will help my hair but overall I think this is a great product and my new ritual. What I didn't like, is that the cost on Amazon was more than the Ritual website and the product was clearly old because most of the capsule had black dots... mold? Maybe, I don't really know what it was. I still took them all. When I ordered from the ritual website the product was a brighter yellow and NO BLACK DOTS, and to my surprise, cheaper than Amazon. Although Amazon has a 30%off discount right now making it less, I think it's best to get this one from the original seller.

As a lifelong vegetarian, this vitamin is fantastic for a number of reasons. 1.) This specific vitamin (Women’s 18+) is the ONLY vegan USP-certified multivitamin on the market. (Note that the Women’s 50+, Men’s 18+, and the prenatal multivitamin are NOT USP certified) Every other USP vitamin out there has gelatin in it in some form. USP certification means the vitamin has been verified for quality and confirms that it contains the ingredients listed on the label, in the declared potency and amounts; it does not contain harmful levels of specified contaminants; will break down and release into the body within a specified amount of time; and has been made according to FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices using sanitary and well-controlled procedures. 2.) This vitamin contains algal oil, a fantastic alternative to fish oil. This algal oil is also carrageenan free (carrageenan may cause inflammation, IBS, and even colon cancer). However, I am increasingly worried about the rising price of this item. When I first started purchasing this vitamin, it was $30 a month. As of this review, the price has increased to $33 on both Amazon and their website— I have seen it reach as high as $36. Unfortunately, Ritual’s Women 18+ multivitamin is the only vitamin that is vegan and USP certified, so I have little choice but to pay more until a reasonable alternative enters the market. Also, this vitamin is pretty popular, which is great for the company but is tiresome when you have an Amazon subscription. For the past 4 months, I have received notifications that this vitamin is sold out and my order will be delayed. However, I am able to purchase it on the product page and just cancel my subscription instead. This is an Amazon-specific problem but a problem nonetheless. Overall, this vitamin is great for my needs, but this is purely based on poor competition for a USP-certified vegan multivitamin. I sincerely hope more affordable vegan vitamins can become USP-certified in the near future.

The vitamins arrived quickly and look exactly how expected. They have a pleasant peppermint smell/taste. After just 3 days of taking these I already feel a difference in my energy levels and my bloating has gone away. These are such a great option for someone looking for a multi vitamin that also has a probiotic. Easy to swallow and fast acting.
