  • Ring does it again
Color: Black Configuration: Wired Floodlight
Nice flood light with warm light and not too bright like some others. Install was straight forward and very easy. Motion detection is good and if you have a ring hub you can hook it to the Ring app and adjust everything on the app such as motion detection zones and sensitivity, the time the lights are on. Over all easy install, connection to the app and up and running in no time. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Changed rating to a 5 star after a recent update - they aren't perfect... but they are 95%!
Color: White Configuration: Wired Floodlight
If I had one item to put on a "wish list" for them - it would be a button (wireless / micro), I could mount on my wall to just turn them on and off without the need for the phone. I know I can talk to Alexa, but a button is not a bad thing! after recent update: you can now turn them on and off all night / you can set schedules for them - the motion sensor could be a little better - but we utilize the other lights to trigger these lights. we will be purchasing more of these... I would like the option to dim the flood light - there is still no "dusk to dawn" option - but ... maybe it will come with another update! OLD REVIEW: these work fine for basic motion at night - we don't have trees near us, so the motion sensor works fine on default - the issue I have is with the lack of customization - for example: no dusk to dawn light option - no ability to control the brightness - no ability to just turn them on and leave them on all night - not sure why - hopefully there will be an upgrade - the hub is also 95% accurate - most of the time it works fine, but the other day, I went to turn the lights on manually and could not connect - had to walk down and unplug the hub / then it worked fine again. just an opinion ... show more

  • When it works, it works.
Color: Black Configuration: Wired Floodlight
Had to return one because it randomly disconnected one day and would not reconnect no matter what I tried. Other than that though they work great. Nice and bright. Connected straight to my echo 4, didn’t need to purchase the ring bridge at all. Linked to my ring doorbell easily and motion settings are easy to set through the ring app. Like I said, when it works the feature set offered is great for the price. ... show more

  • Don't look at them, dang they're bright!
Color: Black Configuration: Wired Floodlight
Hello folks. This is my first review so bare with me. I did a lot of research on Ring and how amazon now owns them and that's not a bad thing. Ring is definitely getting popular and they haven't disappointed me. Ok I own a tri level home and the main device for Ring security is in the middle of the house, which is in the ground. The Bridge is in the living room which is the main floor and about 50 feet away. These lights are in the back and I have 3 of them about 30 feet apart. From the lights to the bridge is pry another 50 feet. Each one installed excellent and when they needed to update and connect to the bridge, they did with no issue. If you're wondering about the brightness, good lord don't. I live in the country where there is no lights. You can turn these on from your alexia device or right when you step out. They are bright. Also, they owners Manuel says it'll blink twice to let you know it's updating. Please give it 10 or 20 seconds to come on as I flipped the switch and freaked out as they didn't come on. Well they did and blinded the holy crap out of me. So yeah they're brighter then those projector lamps on them fancy cars. The Bridge worked great for these lights but if you get the front porch little lights, they will give you a fuss. Every one of them took a half hour to hook up. Anyways they are great lights. Hope this helped you folks. Oh, if you're concerned about the lights and how to change them, don't worry about it. They're LED. That's 100,000 hours of light. You don't need replacements. Also, the person that is ticked about the time they stay on has an issue with how he set them up in his app. They never shut off if you're near them. Once you go in, they will count down to the set time you put them at. That is one thing, understand the app and options before blaming the product. More then likely, it's operator error. Technology is awesome but also can make you pull your hair out. Saying that. Take your time, keep that paper with the barcode and enjoy what you bought. Before you know it, you'll have a smart house. Take care to all that reads this. I've enjoyed giving my 2 cents. ... show more

  • Complete Garbage
Color: Black Configuration: Wired Floodlight
First step buy more Ring products. It simply won’t connect to the existing alarm or wifi, you must buy more ring products. The hardware supplied does not work with the actual ring mounting plate. The screws supplied specifically to finalize installation of the light to the ring mounting bracket do not fit the mounting bracket. The crews for the little brass receptacles are too small of a gauge and simply spin. Tried all of the remaining optional screws supplied and none of those work. Went and bought standard lighting fixture screws and those work. Hmmmmm….. how is it so hard to supply to correct hardware. This next bit is on me I guess for thinking a light would simply work like a light. Who would have thought someone or some Company would make a light that needed software and an account and other devices and the internet to simply operate? No intention of ever hooking the light up to the existing alarm or phone for the constant notifications. Just wanted the light to work like any other light. Flip the switch and it would come on. Nope. Now that one has installed the light one must take the light back off the wall. Scan a QR code to add it to your “system”. Ah no. It is a light. Make it work like any other light. WITH THE OPTION of adding it a “system” if needed or preferred by the end user. So yeah, garbage install hardware. vague instructions, leaves one of the most critical steps out of the instructions scanning the QR code that is needed before installation is complete and cannot be accessed after installation is complete. Customer service is junk, called them and they needed to verify my account because their light is designed to not work like a light. I explained no account is needed to simply have the light turn on. Lights have been turning on without online accounts for about 150 years. No need for an account. But they say light only works with an account. Then I smashed the light to a ton of pieces. Sent the light back to them. Have not heard back. So yeah their follow up is crap too. ... show more
