    • Excellent landscape lighting
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
I bought these Philips Hue lights for my front yard since it’s very small (I only need 4 lights) and I wanted to do it myself (so it had to be easy). This product fit the bill perfectly! It was very easy to install - no need to add a transformer since it’s already included in the power supply. In addition to the power supply, I bought one Calla outdoor pathway light, three Lily XL outdoor spotlights, three cable extensions, and a Hue bridge. I am very pleased with the results. I was concerned that the light cast from the Lily XL spotlights would be too wide (I wanted to regular spotlights but they were sold out) but I find that these spotlights cast a lovely soft glow into a large tree and softly frame my front windows to accent the architecture of my home. I have an Echo Dot which can be used in lieu of the Hue bridge but opted to buy the bridge instead since I do not use my Echo Dot all the time. Set up was very simple. I downloaded the app and it’s easy to change light colors and routines. These lights are a little expensive compared to other landscape lighting options but Philips Hue landscape lighting was a better option for me since I didn’t need that many lights. If I had a large yard and needed more lights or knew I’d never want to change the light colors, it might make more sense for me to get other landscape lights. But this was a perfect option for me! It’s rained several times since I installed these lights and it’s been below freezing at night. No issues so far. ... show more

    • These last long and the colors look really great.
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
Hue bulbs are my favorite. I have six of these in my front yard, and one started to lose some of its colors, so I had to replace it after three years. I got a great deal on this one and was able to replace it easily. I guess getting three years of daily use out of one, being outside is pretty good, but I hope they do last longer. I have a lot of these products in my house, so I have a strong mesh network. I Never have any issues turning these on or off or adjusting colors because of that. ... show more

    • Short lifespan, body/base made of cheap material not appropriate for surviving the outdoors.
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
I've invested heavily in the Philips Hue line and now regret it. This product in particular is something to avoid (the outdoor bollard). My other hue lights work well, but these are the only ones that are exposed to the elements, and they are simply not up to the task. The flimsy spikes easily break from the bottom after a year (I'm assuming improper or cheap plastic used on the base) or simply stop working. Yesterday I had one of the installed lights just go rogue. Wrong color. It seemingly cannot be fixed. And tearing out the system to replace a single bollard is a HUGE and costly hassle. It seems I have to do this every single year for at least one if not more. I like the color changing, I like the app, I like so many things about this system, but they are simply not ready for installation outdoors where they will be exposed to the elements. If you do like I did, plan on spending the time and or money to replace 1, 2 or even 3 of these PER YEAR. ... show more

    • Love, Love, Love, Love, Love, this. Thank You Philips. Worth cost
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
I'm a big Philips Hue user and over years have watched the company put out some great products. I've wanted to try these for a while but was hoping to catch a reduced price as I needed a few. So, I finally got one and it didn't disappoint is style, color, and quality. Very happy with it and adding to my collection of Hue outdoor lights. Will be getting more for sure. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Totally failed within 1 year
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
Can’t recommend this. I had it less than a year and it stopped working altogether. Hard to figure out Philips warranty process and it seems that this experience (failures and poor warranty support) are common with this particular item. The Philips stuff is so expensive - so much more than other comparable - this is unacceptable by any standard. Update: I reached out to Philips (after quite a long time not doing anything on my part) and they replaced my two units without question or fuss. Just needed to show that I’d actually bought the item. I do think this level of customer service is excellent, like it was in the good old days, this makes me want to stay with this brand. ... show more

    • Expensive and WORTH IT! A+++
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
These are the top-notch LED lights right now and after installing nearly 20 around the exterior of our home, I can say we'll buy even more for our backyard. NOTE: Plan ahead!!! If you seriously think you'll have a Philips Hue ecosystem with over 50 Hue products one day (think about the indoor bulbs/switches/sensors and the outdoor lamps and spotlights), then immediately buy TWO Hue bridges. You can only put 50 products on one bridge and that's overloading a single bridge, in my opinion. We just installed a 2nd bridge and placed all interior products on the 1st bridge and all exterior Hue landscape products on the 2nd bridge. This frees up your Wi-Fi signal for normal use around your home and boosts the signals to all the Hue products. ... show more

    • Do NOT buy these used.
Style: Pathway Size: 1-Pack
I bought this item as a “ used “ light. Used is an understatement. First of all I bought 2. Both looked like they had been through 2 hurricanes. Rough is a good word to use. The. One I kept still looks rough. But it works. The other one wouldn’t even light up and the stake it needs to be used in dirt. Was missing. !! Each light comes with a QR code to scan to Help find it with Wi-Fi. Both lights I purchased came with QR codes from unknown lights. Hmmm. It’s a-good thing I’m familiar with setting these up. Bc the S/ N is located on the bottom. Barely can read it bc of the two hurricanes it survived. I DO NOT recommend buying used items bc of a small discount. Wasted my time. I did purchased 2 more. Brand new. No hurricanes were used to destroy these lights. lol. These two lights were obviously someone’s property for a long long time. They repurchased new ones. Then used the box to return their old ones. IMHO. Great products when bought new. ... show more
