TLDR; Overall, these lights last, there’s lots of different light settings/effects to choose from, they are truly wall length, and I’ve had no issues or complaints with them in the 4 years I’ve had these lights. Highly recommend! I bought these lights back in like mid/late 2020 and the battery life of these are amazing! At our old apartment, we would regularly have these on every evening and there would definitely be times we forgot to turn them off so they’d stay on all night. Now in a new place, I have these lights set up in my room and I am always turning them on as soon as I get home from work, and I’ve also had some nights where I passed out and left the lights on and these lights are still working with no issues! They look and work like they were just opened out of the box and it’s been 4 years! I love them so much. The length of the string lights is pretty long, I’m not quite sure how tall our walls are but there is definitely excess lights that pool up on the ground so I have to secure them up off of the floor (I let them hang on the ground as is at the last place but then the roomba would get stuck in them.) There’s lots of different light effects settings to choose from, I personally just keep them on the still light but every now and then I’ll use one of the other settings. The remote control also works great, they way I have it set up it’s on the floor and then I just have to tap it with my foot to turn them on and shuffle through the different light settings. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries/hard taps to get the button to work but that doesn’t personally bother me. ... show more

These twinkle lights make my child’s room feel so magical! The soft glow is perfect for bedtime, and the 8 different settings let my kid pick a new “light show” every night. They were easy to set up and make the whole room feel cozy, magical, and fun. The only downside is that they don’t come with a remote. And a quick tip when hanging them, just unravel the main cord instead of each individual light strip to avoid tangles (I learned that the hard way when I purchased these the first time for my living room!). Bought 3 light sets. One for a 6’9” W window and 2 for a 13’ W glass sliding patio door. This review, photos and videos that I’ve included are for my 6’9” W window only at this time. I may update it later for the glass patio sliding door. For the record, I have the wrong sheer curtains for this window to achieve the look I expected and what was promised. My sheers do not hang with pleats like the image of the product image. Instead they just feed through a rod bar and bunch up together. Perhaps if I added another panel to the rod bar I might be able to get more pleats but still not so well (but I’ll certainly add another panel (a 3rd) to this window later to see if I can get it closer. I do think to achieve this look, a traverse curtain rod with pleated sheer curtains is most necessary. Let’s begin: The hardest part of putting these lights up are untangling them and mounting them at a perfect spacing. I followed the instructions by first plugging them in (before detangling them and or removing any wire packaging) to ensure they all light up. The next step I took while they were plugged in was to detangle them without removing the string wire for each bundled string line. I laid them on the floor and just detangled the main line. See pic. Once they laid out detangled by the main line, I proceeded to hang them up with the lines still bundled up in tact. I’m lazy and did not want to measure between each string drop of lights to make my markings first. So instead, I grabbed the main line string, a hammer and nails and put up the first bundled notch with a nail in my wall just behind my rod so it’s hidden. Then I pulled the main line gently straight and inserted a nail in between the little notch in the main line at the next string and repeated these steps until the end of the main line string. That was the toughest part and I hated doing it but hoped it would be worth all the trouble. With a pleated sheer type curtain whether through a ring hole rod curtain or a pleated traverse, you are instructed to lay each string over and into each curtain pleat. I couldn’t do that cause I don’t have pleats. My sheers just gather some because I bought the wrong ones. The look after my work was still beautiful. And I’m happy with them. They shine bright. My two videos are of the Slo Glo mode and the sequence. I strongly suggest you follow the instructions as I did to at least detangle the main line first with the string lines still bundled up. My glass patio sliding door has a traverse rod curtain system and I’m waiting for my pleated sheers to come in. I’m hoping that I got it Wright and the look will be the desired look where I can install these the way the instructions state (lay each line in between pleats) and post an update with pics on the outcome. The biggest pain was just unwinding each strand and that wasn’t even that difficult. I purchased a set of these last year and they have been holding up great. Almost all the strands are about half the original length though because my stupid dog chewed most of the strands about 3 ft off the floor. Anything that wasn’t chewed off still lights up just fine which actually surprised me. I did end up purchasing two more sets recently because I know they will hold up and last. The strands go all the way to the floor in my room and since they are behind the headboard I plan on using a thumb tack to hold the bottom of each strand up on the top of the wall at the ceiling in between where each strand drapes down so it will end up looking 2x as bright and full. Picture just shows one of the two sets I recently purchased with the strands hanging all the way down. Definitely what I wanted and a great deal for the price ... show more

Yall I bought this item originally in 2018 for my wedding as some extra sparkle somewhere. Afterwards, we plugged it in over our fireplace in our home bc we were cute we just got married. We never turned it off. We changed the light style every now and then: we started with just on, then to a slow tinkle when our first kid was born. Anyway it's still on. Right now. Sparkling and tinkling away all 8 years later, only mildly interrupted for babies or hurricanes. I love this light. It sets the standard for fairy lights as a whole by far. These curtain string lights are great and really transformed a big blank white wall in an event space where we had our wedding reception into a magical setting. Cannot recommend them enough! Easy to unpack, hang and chain multiple strings of them together. The different lighting modes are also a great feature. We will continue to use them in the future for decorating any parties we host.
