Our door frame sits much further out than the actual door and this completely fixed the issue. It comes with risers for both sides of the sensor too so you can choose one or the other side to raise

These were what we needed to do a proper install since door casing and door were different depths. I think they are overpriced, but we had to have them, so we were stuck paying $40 for 4 to finish the install. They were easy to install and fit so that the sensors work as intended to secure entry points.

A really smart design as I worried I have to restick everything when I realized the gap was too off after installation. I didn't have to worry as it snaps right on the battery cover (which is sticking on the door), and you can snap the sensor over that. This kit actually works for two doors as the other piece can be used to even out another door frame.

Great product!! We have very think molding around our doors. In the past my husband made his own riser out of wood. This is much easier to install and more pleasing to look at. The Functionality and Durability are wonderful. The size was not as thick as We needed but we solved that issue with using two stacked per door. This shouldn’t be a problem for everyone we just have thicker molding. I love the security of having RING sensors on our doors and windows. Soapbox time: I have a huge pet peeve and that is people that downgrade a review not because of the product but because they weren’t paying attention to the description, delivery was late or they haven’t tried it yet. People READ the descriptions. The sizes. The quantity. Etc

The door trim caused the sensors to sit unevenly, which led to intermittent failures and prevented the alarm from arming. These spacers let me position the sensors correctly, and the issue hasn’t returned since. I also added a range extender. Very happy with the final result.
