Gorgeous, and sturdy! I stressed over the perfect bistro set, these are the most comfortable, better than the stiff wrought iron. My husband put them together without instructions, I would have figured it out on my own but can see why it could be frustrating.

Package showed up days ahead of schedule. This set looks great from the street, about 20 feet away. The bright red color is cute in the yard. I assembled it by myself without any issues. The paint quality is a little rough, and it already has a few chips in it and some bubbling, straight out of the box. There are also a couple of dings in the metal on the seat of one chair and in the table top. These are going in a garden area under the trees, so I had anticipated needing to hit them with a fresh coat of Krylon each spring. If these were going to be on the porch or close to the house and not exposed to weather, I would have returned for the more expensive name brand. Since this will be subject to falling tree debris, the price was right and the imperfections not a huge issue. The chair size and height are very good. For reference I’m 5’8” and 150 lbs and they would be suitable for someone larger. They are comfortable to sit in, though some people may want a cushion. Finally, they come with little plastic plugs for the screw caps and covers for the nut. The plastic does not match the paint well, nor do they fit securely. I left them off, because I figured I was going to be picking them up out of the yard sooner rather than later.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought a set similar to this from Wayfair. That set lasted forever and the quality was much better. This has been sitting in a box for about a month ready to be put together. My husband finally had time off of work and was able to put it together yesterday. It already has damage to it. I don’t recommend this set. Not very comfortable either. Go to Wayfair instead if they still have any. I couldn’t find the one I had. That’s why I ordered this one.

Just be aware that it really takes two people to assemble. I did it myself and it was quite challenging. I was using my feet, my chin and both hands at one point. Also, the instructions came with the picture on one page and the instructions on a different page, so I was looking at the wrong picture while putting a chair together and it was a disaster and very frustrating. Lastly, the parts and screws were NOT labeled, neither was there a diagram showing the parts and screws and their names, but the instructions refer to the parts and all the screws by letter (A, B, C, etc.) I had to go by the pictures (which are vague) and hope for the best. Well, the best didn't work out and I had to start over. I did finally get it assembled and it's quite pretty. My mother loves it.
