Installation is straightforward. It comes with good instructions. My only problem with the product itself is 1. I wish the endcaps on the rails were more robust. They're soft rubber. 2. The rails install with thumbscrews and they're HARD to turn. You're bending the rails to match the contours of the canopy by turning the thumbscrews. By the end of the day my fingers and thumbs were bruised and blistered. It would have been better to just include a large washer, nut, and maybe shorter screw, so a socket wrench could be used. I got these to use with yakima railrider 3's (older design). They fit. ... show more

The track came with tbolts that are 1/2" too short to mount on snug top sportsmen shell and Rhino wont have longer ones in stock for over a month. the tbolt design requires their specific bolts for mounting properly or modify and weld longer bolts onto modified T. if you have a solid topped mounting base more than 3/4" the bolts will not work creating a major time problem and matching existing cab system to truck shell becoming big issue ... show more

Very impressed with Rhino Rack. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their products. The rails are tricky to install, considering they have to be completely parallel, and your truck bed or surface is likely asymmetric and/or curved. Despite this, I went for it, followed the instruction manual, and everything went well! They provide solid water proofing with installation kit, unlike some other brands. 35mm T-bolts are not long enough for my Leer cap. Contacted Rhino CS for a solution, to receive mostly canned responses from Melissa. Such as, “here’s a link to the vehicle configuration” - which doesn’t include any brands of cap. I then have to do her job for her when she states “we don’t have longer T-Bolts specific to your kit”. I then send her a link to the 50mm T-bolts on their site. “Yes, that will work!”. So I ask for a reduced cost or swap for said t-bolts as it’ll cost me $91- more than half the initial cost of the tracks. In comes another canned response from Melissa: “What you received is the engineered fitment for the vehicle.” FFS Melissa, it’s a generic fitment kit. PartsHawk attempted to get the hardware through their distributor but non are currently available. So Now, I currently debate spending X to eat the return shipping cost and return it. Or spend Y on trying to mcguyver some hardware to make it work. ... show more
