Ran into a dilemma with setting up the awnings on my 2004 Toyota Tundra double cab: how and where am I going to mount it? With the OG 1st gen Tundras, there weren't many options for roof setups especially without having to drill into the cab. Yakima Q-towers resolved that issue with their clamping method. Awning mount/brackets for round cross bars can be expensive (without DIY'ing) and are somewhat uncommon from what little search I've done. These brackets have proved to be the perfect solution to mounting an awning to Yakima round bars. With the three hole design, I can use the mount for standard awnings (ARB, Maxi Trac/NAPA, etc.) or for its actual intended Rhino-rack Batwing. Hardware seems to be decent quality. I would've gave this 5 stars but I went with the "Used" option to save a little money... Well it was missing some washers and nuts and both brackets the holes were drilled bigger. I think there was no QC on the return and resell of the used product. I decided to just live with it and use it anyways, went to home depot to get the missing washers and nuts. ... show more

Solid brackets and lock nuts! I got this hooked on to my $120 roof rack that did the job. Comes with 2 u hooks that have longer treads for smaller tubes. Did a few road trip on road and off road, it’s solid!

After paying someone 200.00 couldn’t use. Ordered a different set and the person I hired literally installed my awning in 30 minutes. So if you have an ARB awning these will not work. I guess maybe u could alter them to make them work but why. Should do what they advertise.
