Ok was a bit nervous about aftermarket roof rack bars - but decided to give it a try since Tesla is charging 3X the cost. I found a video online by searching the brand name and Telsa and was able to follow it very easily. The only challenge I found was making sure you gently pull back the weatherstripping when putting the hook bolts in place. I used a tiny flathead screwdriver to lift the weatherstripping and then the provided plastic tool to slide into gap. Also...Of course anytime you are tightening down four corners of anything with bolts - you want to make sure you evenly crank down on the hand-tightening bolts to make sure the pressure is evenly distributed and the rack bars are adjusted into place properly. I found the provided torque wrench a little confusing but realized you just pull on the black handle until it slips and won't tighten anymore. This was just about 1/2 turn tighter than hand tightening. I didn't experience any noises or other problems. The rack seems super solid and will drive and test tomorrow!

The vendor was great, but the product was a low quality product. In the first delivery, I received brackets with threaded portion too short for the front cross bar mounts. I could not mount the front crossbar. The vendor was great and sent me a full replacement right away. Awesome customer service. The package came with one extra bracket and one extra wing nut. Brackets and wing nuts are too soft. I ended up stripping one wing nut, and one other nut has bigger diameter than the thread and could not be used. I installed the second unit, and it seemed good. However, about a month later, I noticed that the rear crossbar can be pushed ~1/4 inch. I took it off. It seemed that the L shape metal bracket that holds the mount to the roof became loose. The bend on the L part of the bracket that goes under the glass roof became loose and does not make the mount/crossbar tightly secured. Now I am out of the 30 day return window. I am stuck with two long aluminum bar for nothing.

There are a lot of mixed reviews for this item so I was questioning whether this was a wise decision. I cannot speak to the quality or longevity of the product but I can definitely talk about the installation process. Make sure to read the instructions thoroughly before installing. Like someone else mentioned, not 100% sure the sticker is required or needed. My car already had markings to show there the bars should be installed. Once you identify those, it was pretty simple to install and for me all of the bolts were long enough and everything fit properly. Some of the bars do not look flush on top but I don’t think it’s a big deal, the basket I ordered fit fine on top of the crossbars. Make sure to be careful and not over tighten the nuts. I made sure to use the included torque wrench and used it to make sure it wasn’t over tightened. It looks fine but the finish on the edges leaves a little gap but it looks ok. We need a few road trips in order for me to report back on functionality but when I tried to move it or shake it, it definitely felt solid.

Very happy with this purchase. Purchased for 2022 Tesla Model Y. Installation took approximately 15 minutes as instructions were very clear, all parts were identified (such as FL(front-left) for each corner). I wish i followed instructions properly and noticed side covers were loose. For side covers- MUST Set top in place and tap bottom of cover and it snaps into place. If you try bottom first you will crush the top inside part and will not sit properly…. Manufacturer responded to my concern and provided replacement parts that fell off. Strongly recommend this roof rack for your Tesla!

Like the sturdy set up. Easy enough to install like any other Tesla crossbars. Heavy and feels tough. But….it’s not noiseless. The title and description says “noiseless “ but it’s not noiseless. There’s a high whistle at 55+mph that I can hear even with the windows all the way up. Not super loud but I can hear it. I don’t see it when I’m driving so I don’t want to hear it either. I want NOISELESS!!

Had it for about a year, had a couple issues due to frequent use and seller was very quick to help and provide replacement parts free. Plastic cover flew out and one of the screws wore off, both were reported and replacement parts were received within a week. Screws were replaced all together with new parts even though only two showed that were stripped. Two plastic trims fell off and i received two full replacements for all 4 plastic covers in case the rest fell off

Installation is not bad but not great either. The tool to slide the equipment on is a little finicky. But the main issue is that it whistles from 20mph on. And it is loud. So, unless the music is blasting, all your conversations will have larsen in the background! Cheap and poorly designed.

Overall the bars work and get the job done, BUT: the tool provided to separate the rubber next to the glass doesn't work well so took me a while to get the clips in. I'm not sure why they don't provide the same tool as the OEM one. Once installed, the top of the bars is not complete level between front and back. The locks are quite cheap, and one of them doesn't work. Anti-abrasion tapes don't line up with the pads and will show after installation. And finally it's LOUD despite what the description says. As I said, they work but you get what you paid for. I was hoping I might get lucky with a good product comparable to OEM, bur looks like I will be getting the Tesla OEM ones after all.
