I needed a small lamp for my desk to limit my dependency on over head lights specially at night. Overall, the light does the job. The brightest white isn’t too bright so don’t expect it to light up an entire room. The color changing feature definitely gives the small area in a room great ambience especially if you have other color changing devices nearby. If you don’t move the lamp often and have it always connected to power the low battery life of five hours won’t phase you. However, if you want a bright and portable lamp with a longer battery life I would recommend shopping around. ... show more

My thoughts on "RGB Table Lamp, AVENUS LED Night Light with RGB, Touch Table Lamp." I got this lamp so that I could set it anywhere without having to worry about the cord. I wanted to light a larger space. It is not as bright as I expected, hence it does not perform well for my specific purpose. It lasts roughly 5 hours without charging, which is not even two evenings. The lamp is made out of plastic. Aside from that, it is a great lamp with simple settings: light brightness and whether or not to rotate colors (in which case it is 'white' light). I got this to use as a backdrop for YouTube videos. It works very well, isn't too bright, and looks really nice. This isn't something to use if you want a bright source of light, but if you just want some nice, soft, ambient light it is perfect. The colors are nice as well. Also, you can't get it to make the color in the main picture consistently. They must have taken a shot while the rotating colors were in motion and happened to get that mix. Not a deal breaker for me, but others might want that after seeing it. Just be aware. The touch controls on top are very sensitive, so you don't have to fumble with it to work. I picked this item because I really like the way it looks in the photo with the multiple colors showing like so. It does not do that. It simply rotates through colors and only shows one color at a time.
