This is my 2nd Anbernic device and they don't disappoint! Let's talk some pros and cons! PROS: Screen qaulity is superb! 5 levels of brightness and fully laminated IPS Build Qauilty is top notch and exceeds the $70 price tag. Does rattle if you shake it (compared to Miyoo Mini complete silence) but this is due to the L1 L2 and R1 R2 buttons being on a hinge and is totally normal. OS is very user friendly. You can upgrade/install Garlic OS which will allow for some overclocking. A tad bit more powerful than Miyoo Mini+. The RG35XX uses the A9 chip where as the Miyoo is A7. The difference is very small and you'll probably never notice a difference. The only advantage I saw in the RG35xx was slightly better frame rates on tougher PS1 games. EXAMPLE The RG35XX worse frame rate on PS1 was 55 FPS where on Miyoo was 52/53 fps. HDMI Output: This is a great feature that the Miyoo does not have. The ability to connect the device to a TV or Monitor and play on the big screen using the device itself as the controller. CONS: Battery life is just OK. The Miyoo comes with a 3000mah battery. NOW let me say this....the device I got has a 2600 mah battery where it states it comes with a 2100 mah. This was a nice surprise! Now even with the bigger battery its about 2 hours less play time than the Miyoo when the screen is at max brightness. No Wifi in the device. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to get Retro Achievments and over the air updates. Stock Games are just OK. My unit came with over 5000+ games which was awesome but expect some not to load or play and duplicates. This is the norm when it comes to massive ROM dumps from manufactures. CONCULSION: Love the system for 8-bit, 16-bit, Arcade games! It can handle PS1 no problem but playing a vertical handheld the shoulder buttons are not ideal placment for certain games. Recommend going to a landscape/horizonatl style handheld if you like games where the shoulder buttons are mainly used. With that being said don't expact to play PSP or Dreamcast games to the fullest on this chipset. Go with the RG405M with the T618 Chipset for higher emulation like Gamecube and N64 etc. For what this unit is I highly recommend and enjoy it alot! ... show more

Didn’t use the stock os, so can’t comment on it. I installed the publicly recommended garlic os. The device is responsive and easy to use by an eight year old. Sound and video are both ok for the price. Great device for a little retro gaming on the go

so right out of the box I put it on the charger and left it for a while battery said it was fully charged but the bars didn't go all the way. it does have setting info on battery capacity. mine is at 60% this is a huge bummer. the screen is clear and the gameplay is as expected. overall good quality product but the diminished battery life right out of the box is a huge letdown. I will try to use it for a week or so hopefully, it improves ( I won't hold my breath) if not I will reach out to Amazon and or the company to see if we can solve this minor issue ... show more
