My 3 year old and 7 year old love it, our 18 month old wants to play too. The Peppa pig and bluey games were definitely a big selling point for us, and they are fun. However I do wish you could set it to just keep playing the same bluey/Peppa game instead of it going into the next one (it's possible you can and I just haven't figured it out, but I don't think so). I also like the fitness games for myself, not a big fan of zumba type stuff, but I really like the boxing game for myself. It has different levels and time frames you can set it to. And it's not just punching, there's all kind of ducking and blocking too so your really getting a decent little work out that doesn't feel like work. And of course, it keeps the kids moving. My 7 year old has ADHD and ASD, his big thing is tech. We don't want to get him a "regular" game console until he's older (and the toddler won't break it), but this is a really great compromise. He loves the brick blocker, and fruit ninja. I've been having him play a little bit in the mornings sometimes before school to get him out of that foggy-groggy morning head. That and some music on the way to school has really improved his mornings, I've seen it myself and his teachers agree. It's also great that whenever they release new games, you automatically get them with the subscription. And the annual subscription is absolutely worth it. It's also nice if your not sure if it's right for you, you do get a couple games to try out before paying for the subscription. Also just a tip if you have little ones your worried might take the nex and throw it around or something, we put alien tape on the bottom and stuck it on the shelf below the TV, it hasn't moved once. And our toddler is incredibly destructive.

We set up our Nex Playground for my son's birthday this weekend and aolutely love it. We're a family with kids from 7 to 15 years old, and we all had so much fun. I had been looking for a game system I could say yes too, after struggling over games that keep kids sitting and isolated, staring at a small screen. This game system is different! It's very easy to hook up and gets rid of the annoying separate controller. We always lose/break/fight over controllers, so having a system without one is amazing. There is one master control remote but apparently you can use a regular remote if it gets lost, which is a huge relief. Otherwise the controller for all games is you and your body! The game comes with a small selection of games, which is great to start, but with the subscription (an annual fee) you get a really good, varied assortment of games. Some people may not like that model, but as a Nintendo-playing family, I love it and think it's a great deal. For the price of one or two games on a Nintendo system, you get access to a library of ever-expanding games on the Nex. I like having jumped in slightly late as there are a lot of games to choose from. Our favorite games currently are Starri (dance rhythm game), fruit ninja, bowling, and an airplane flight game. When we turned it on, even the kids' grandma wanted to try playing! I love watching my kids play actively together and have fun moving their bodies in a game. Its great to see them playing cooperatively and talking to each other. Selecting options with body and hand motions feels active even while using a screen. I felt sore (in a good way!) after playing enthusiastically the previous day. The best endorsement came from my 15 year old, who said she had been skeptical when I first mentioned getting the system, but "it was a really good idea, Mom." I agree! The company itself also feels very fresh and enthused about its product, like the best kind of start-up. The insider community on Facebook is a terrific way to get insight into thr company's plans for the future and current activity. They are very transparent about what they're doing and developing, and appear to always be working on improving and tweaking existing games. This is another feature where they surpass the competition, as competitor's games are not as easily improved or expanded upon once published. This is a long review, but can be summed up easily- my family loves the Nex! It's the best purchase I've made for our family in a long time.

This is one of the single best purchases ever!!!!! We live in Utah and the winters here can get pretty cold. We take our 3 year old out snowboarding and have tons of places to get out her energy. Days where we want to stay home we would find activities to do but when we wanted to get the house clean she would take out toys and make a mess almost instantly. We bought this because of the reviews and it was a game changer. She loves playing Bluey and Hey Gabby. It keeps her entertained while we cook dinner, clean the house,and need a little time to ourselves. No mess and she gets her energy out. We play with her all the time making pavlova, or racing cars. It's really fun and keeps you active. My wife and I challenge eachother on the fitness games and it gets pretty competitive. Set up was super easy, it downloads the games once you get the pass. Great purchase and lots of fun.

We absolutely love this thing! This is perfect for our son with Down syndrome, not only so he can play video games with his neurotypical friends but so he can be active at the same time! Unlike other motion based video game systems in the past, the Nex works perfectly! There’s no tricking it with hand motions only. You have to move your body to play the games or dance. Speaking of dance, their Starri game (their version of beat saber) is my new workout routine! They have a decent number of songs that come with the system. But if you get their subscription service, you can unlock all their songs. Starri even tells you how many calories you have burned each dance as well as in total for that session. I haven’t exercised seriously for over 16 years, so this is perfect for someone getting back into the game and so much fun!! The system comes with 5 games: fruit ninja (my son’s favorite game), a whack a mole game (1-2 players), a mini game version of Mario party (1-2 players), a soccer goal game and the Starri beat saber like game (1-2 players). The Starri game is definitely my favorite. Not only does it tell you how many calories you burn, you can see 3 different levels of difficulty so you will definitely get a good workout no matter what. I like the slash versus the touch version. The slash has you slash with an arrow for the direction you have to slash to as well as which hand (yellow for left and blue for right), touch when you see single lines/bars, lean to either avoid the X or to lean into the wide bars of various lengths and a crystal to slash both hands fast at the same time. It’s very difficult for me at the starting level, so I know I will get a lot out of this game. My teenager has beat saber using their meta quest (previously known as oculus) system, but you have to wear a headset. We also have beat saber for the PlayStation. But you need to hold the light based receivers to play. And neither has the accuracy and fluidity of Starri. Plus, you just do your stuff with nothing to hold or wear, which you will appreciate since you will work up a good sweat using this (especially since you can’t trick the system). The system itself is a small cube a bit larger than the size of a Rubix cube. There’s a magnetic cover to protect the lens. It comes with a power adapter and hdmi cord. All you have to do is plug it into an outlet and plug the hdmi into your tv, connect it to WiFi and then finish setup on your phone (there is no app) or tablet using the QR code on the tv. Very easy to setup and you will be playing with no time! We also got a carrying case and a silicone case for the Nex cube and remote. We plan on taking this to friends and family as well as on vacation, so the compact size is much appreciated. With everything inside the case, it’s smaller than most lunch boxes. So far as I can tell, the Nex mainly uses your upper body since none of the games we have played so far uses the legs or feet, which makes sense. The camera is very quick to adjust to where your body is, although you can’t be too close to the camera or else it won’t detect your body. We haven’t gotten the subscription yet but plan to. So I can’t wait to see what else Nex has in store for us!

Got this for my kids and grand kids for a together Christmas gift. They love it and we ourselves 50ish year old parents and grandparents love it. Great for older people as well, games have a wild range of levels, easy to hard levels, bowling and gym are my favorites, but there's so much more and they have added 8 new games since the start of the year 2026, with more coming. Good way to stay active with no need for a controller or extra gadgets. Just use your arms and legs, and brain. Camera picks your body up easily and there's no lag, we play with 4 players at same time and it picks us all up with no confusion.good family time.

This is amazing. It’s very easy to use that. It comes with remote and there’s a bunch of preschool games for Littles to play. There’s a bunch of games you have to pay for most of the games, but I would say that you should pay and there’s still are some free games to play. The assembly is pretty easy because all you have to do is connect to your TV and other things and it’s very easy to use the appearance is very pretty. I love the blue with the yellow. It’s just really pretty and useful and fun. And when I said useful, I meant like useful for like parties or when kids want friends over it’s a great way to play. Like I said it’s for all ages!!

This is a blast for all ages! I bought for grandkids, but there is something for everyone. Great grandpa did bowling with them. So from little 3 years olds to great grandpa's its a hit! It is very very pricey- but overall I think it is worth it. Just have to bite the bullet for such an expensive item and hope your family enjoys as much as mine! It would be much more realistic for many more families-if the price was a little more reasonable. I'm giving it a 4 because so expensive!
