  • Great for the kids, family, and a fun workout for adults.
Style: Console Only Pattern Name: No Play Pass
My 3 year old and 7 year old love it, our 18 month old wants to play too. The Peppa pig and bluey games were definitely a big selling point for us, and they are fun. However I do wish you could set it to just keep playing the same bluey/Peppa game instead of it going into the next one (it's possible you can and I just haven't figured it out, but I don't think so). I also like the fitness games for myself, not a big fan of zumba type stuff, but I really like the boxing game for myself. It has different levels and time frames you can set it to. And it's not just punching, there's all kind of ducking and blocking too so your really getting a decent little work out that doesn't feel like work. And of course, it keeps the kids moving. My 7 year old has ADHD and ASD, his big thing is tech. We don't want to get him a "regular" game console until he's older (and the toddler won't break it), but this is a really great compromise. He loves the brick blocker, and fruit ninja. I've been having him play a little bit in the mornings sometimes before school to get him out of that foggy-groggy morning head. That and some music on the way to school has really improved his mornings, I've seen it myself and his teachers agree. It's also great that whenever they release new games, you automatically get them with the subscription. And the annual subscription is absolutely worth it. It's also nice if your not sure if it's right for you, you do get a couple games to try out before paying for the subscription. Also just a tip if you have little ones your worried might take the nex and throw it around or something, we put alien tape on the bottom and stuck it on the shelf below the TV, it hasn't moved once. And our toddler is incredibly destructive. ... show more

  • Best family game system we’ve tried — gets kids moving and parents involved
Style: Console Only Pattern Name: No Play Pass
The media could not be loaded. Quick Summary The Nex Playground has become one of our favorite family activities because it gets everyone off screens and actually moving Review As a mom of two energetic boys (ages 6 and 7), I’m always looking for ways to get them off passive screen time and into something more active. The Nex Playground has honestly been one of the best additions to our home for that. What I love most is that it gets everyone moving, including me. Instead of sitting on the couch while my kids play games, we’re all standing, jumping, moving, and playing together. It has actually helped me stay more active while keeping up with my kids, which I didn’t expect from a gaming system. The variety of games is impressive. There truly is something for everyone in our house. Some of the categories we’ve enjoyed include: • movement and activity games • strategy games • educational games • sports-style games • fun creative games like baking My kids never get bored because there are so many options. We also ended up getting the Play Pass, and in my opinion it’s completely worth it. It unlocks even more games and expands the experience a lot. Another big plus is how family-friendly the system feels. My kids picked it up quickly, but there are still plenty of games that challenge them and keep things interesting. For our family, this has turned into something we play almost every night. It’s rare to find a game system that keeps kids active while also being genuinely fun for adults. Photo/Video Guide • Kids playing a movement game • Gameplay on the screen • Example of the activity style games Buyer Guidance If you’re looking for a game system that encourages movement and family interaction rather than passive screen time, the Nex Playground is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Fun for all ages
Style: Console Only Pattern Name: No Play Pass
I bought this Playground active Play system to have at my house for my Grandchildren. Ages 11, 9, & 4. They love it. Games for all ages. Even adults! What i love about this is they have to be active and not just sit and stare at the T.V. Some of the games really make them think. Math games, matching games, etc... You do have to purchase the "games" separately for @ $90. AND the games expire after 1 year. Then, you have to purchase them again. I activated my games in March so I'll know more next year how this all works. I would buy this again. It's fun to hear them laughing while playing. ... show more

  • Fun and Active Indoor Play That Kids Actually Enjoy
Style: Console Only Pattern Name: No Play Pass
We picked up the Nex Playground for our kids who are all under 10, and it’s been a great addition to the house. It gives them a way to stay active indoors, especially on days when going outside isn’t an option. What I like most is how quickly they got into it. The games are engaging and easy for younger kids to understand, so they can jump right in without needing constant help. It’s been nice seeing them move around, burn some energy, and actually have fun doing it instead of just sitting with a tablet or watching TV. It also works well as a family activity. We’ve all joined in a few times, and it turns into something everyone can enjoy together. Overall, it’s been a solid purchase and a fun way to keep younger kids active indoors. ... show more

  • Fabulous Family Fun!
Style: Console Only Pattern Name: No Play Pass
Perfect way to spend time with grandkids and it gets us all up and moving. This is a great alternative to expensive video games. It is like Wii, but has a camera so your movements play the games -- no accessories needed! Buy the year pass and you will have such a variety of fun games to play and they add new things along the way. Just a small cube that you hook up to an HDMI port on your tv. My Kindergarten-age grandson loves to fly the airplane, race mini-cars, and ride dragons. Grandma loves bowling, whac-a-mole, tumble bots, and cooking with friends. There is preschool availability with Bluey and Elmo and dance programs. I like that it has fitness programs, quizzes, and learning programs, like GeoDarts. We will be playing this for a very long time. ... show more
