  • Updated: Best gift idea EVER Updated: Best gift idea EVER
Color: Pink Unicorn
***UPDATE: The seller quickly contacted me to address my issues with this Robo Fun Unicorn. Let me tell you, this seller is passionate about their customer service and appreciate every idea! They sent a brand new unicorn out to me not even a week after my original review which stated the issues I was having with the remote. While the remote itself could be better, the new unicorn and remote they sent me controls both the old unicorn and the new one! (At the same time, in case anyone with two girls was wondering about purchasing two; I am unsure if theres a way to change the frequency at which the remotes work to be controlled separately.) Either way, this toy is AMAZING and SO MUCH FUN. PLUS ITS SO AFFORDABLE! Your child (or any child) will love this as a gift, no matter their age. I am so glad there are sellers on Amazon that actually stand behind their products, regardless of when a review is posted or when a problem presents itself. I've had pretty bad luck with other purchases on here, luckily this seller made my daughter and I completely satisfied. 😃❤ Original Rating: 3 stars I bought this for my 5 y/o daughter's Christmas present. She wanted one of those name-brand robot unicorns that don't do anything except make noise. I was SO excited when I found this, and the reviews were pretty mixed so I thought it would be worth a shot. She loves this thing, but when it arrived I knew I was gonna test it out but I also had to do something with the messy hair of the mane, it was literally the worst boxed-presentation of a toy that I've ever seen. I didn't take a picture of that, but as you can see I braided it which wasn't hard. It came with a charger that plugs into the mouth, where the "treats" also plug into. The treats have photos of commands on them, and if you click the horn on the unicorn it has three modes- 1) follow/remote 2) obstacle 3) treats/command. I REALLY wish it had a better remote. So this unicorn has a dance button on the remote that is pretty cool, basically the only function of the remote that works all the time. The light on the top part doesnt even glow like it should, just the one random button like shown in the photos. The buttons are extremely hard to press, and most of the time they get stuck on the inside. The remote was the whole reason I got this. I dont know if I just got a crappy remote or if everybody has the same issues, but its still a pretty cool toy. In the first mode it will follow your hand, in the second mode it will dodge things in the way (kinda) and the third mode you make it do certain things in order, but the treats are pretty difficult for my child to get into the slot of the mouth. It seems fragile like if she doesnt line it up perfectly it will break. ... show more

  • Extremely cute!!! And it's very cool!
Color: Pink Unicorn
This robot unicorn is very very cool! and i love the cute face, hair, and horn! my grandmother got this for me and my sister's early bday present and we both loved it! my sister named her unicorn Rosie and i named mine Blossom. i am surprised how cheap it is, i think my grandmother thought the same too. we both braided Rosie and Blossom's hair and we played with them most of the days, i like how you can program them to do certain moves with the treats! we were always disappointed when it was time to charge them, but my sister made a bed out of a cardboard box and put a blanket in it for me and her so Rosie and Blossom could lay in that bed like their sleeping while they were charging! and i like the three modes, the first mode the unicorns eyes turned blue, thats casual mode and you just use the cute pink remote control to move the unicorn (my sister loved the "DANCE" button) or you could use your hand cuz the unicorn has sensors in their eyes and they sense your hands and they just follow your hands, the second mode is the adventure mode (their eyes turn red) and they just wander off and they use their sensors to sense if they are about to run into a wall, and the last mode is the feeding mode (purple eyes) and the robots come w/ treats and each treat has a move and you feed the unicorn treats in order you want and it remembers all the moves and when your done it starts dancing with the moves you fed them! but i have to warn you, do not let the unicorn robots to go on the carpet. once Blossom walked on the carpet for only 3 minutes and then when i let her go on the hard floor, only one wheel was working, when i put her on adventure mode, she just goes in circles and nothing else cuz hair was stuck in the wheel and was really hard to get out. then Rosie got hair stuck in her wheel too and stopped being able to move right. we were disappointed but it IS our fault that we let them go on the carpet but i wish there was a warning on the box. we are returning it tomorrow and getting a new one but thats all i will say in this review, Bye! ... show more

Color: Pink Unicorn
Super cute, my Daughter loves it. Definitely for 3 and older my 2 year old is just a smidge young for it but she loves how interactive it is. The feeding chips dont seem to do much when you put them in the unicorns mouth. But its inexpensive so its great for what you pay for.

  • Big Easter hit with my 2-year-old — remote works great
Color: T-rex Green Dino
I bought this Robo Pets T-Rex dinosaur toy for my 2-year-old for Easter, and he absolutely loves it. It was one of those gifts that got attention right away and has continued to be fun after the initial excitement wore off. The remote control works really well, which is probably the biggest thing I was hoping for. Some remote-control toys for younger kids can be frustrating if the controls are laggy or unreliable, but this one responds nicely and is easy enough for an adult to help with while still being fun for a toddler to watch and interact with. The lights, movement, walking, dancing, and dinosaur design make it very engaging for a young child. The green T-Rex color is bright and fun, and the toy has enough personality that my son keeps going back to it. Bought as an Easter gift for my 2-year-old Remote control works great Fun lights and movement Very engaging for a toddler Cute dinosaur design Good gift idea for young kids Overall, this was a great purchase for the price. My 2-year-old loves it, and the remote works better than I expected for a toy in this price range. ... show more

  • Fantastic Customer Service! Bad toy though...
Color: Puppy Blue
Updated since my original review: The seller/company was beyond exceptional in reaching out to me to make amends for my experience with the puppy. I recieved a full refund once I sent it back, and was offered a different toy/product from their store at no additional cost. Not to mention how I don't check my Amazon messages ever so it's been several months since I returned the puppy yet I got multiple messages from the company determined to send complimentary toy of my choice. When I responded with what I wanted, they even suggested I take a more updated batch that was priced more than the one I had chosen. So the original toy may have been a disappointment, but that matters not because the store more than made up for it with their resolve to make sure I was satisfied, my expectations were certainly exceeded. Original review of the puppy: Everything came with the product and it all worked fine, however, there are several kinks that should be wired out. One, it barks way too much. It can "run" forward, "walk" forward, lunge forward, sit, sit up, stand on it's hind legs, stand on hind legs while it turns, and it'll dance, but there's only one song that it dances to. It has bones that you can program to do a series of those same tricks, which you can also do with the remote, but it only stays programmed to do the set of tricks once so having more than one or two bones is unnecessary and the hassle of programming him to do it isn't worth it when you only get the same old tricks anyway. The wheels get caught on stuff or get clogged easily on hard floors, especially if you have other actual pets that shed hair. It doesn't work very well or quickly on carpet, stairs are a no as well since it can't climb and/or would probably fall down them. There are three modes: one being that it works with the remote (works fine but has a very short range, like a few feet and with nothing blocking the puppy from the red light on the remote), the second mode is supposed to be motion sensing and that works something awful. (Any motion makes it lunge at you barking, it doesn't give you the chance to actually make any specific motions, and when you do it has to be literally right in front of it's face), the third mode is supposed to make it so the puppy navigates it's way around the house, avoiding anything it sees with it's sensors, HOWEVER, it doesn't see anything above, nor below, it's eye level, nor can it tell when it's running into something it can't see. So basically, it still attempts to walk even when it can't and you hear all the gears and stuff still trying to force it and making that *whirring* sound that doesn't sound healthy for it at all. Do you know how many items are specifically 5in off the ground in my house? And apparently, walls don't fall in the category of what it can see either... ... show more

  • Promising Toy, Has Some Problems
Color: Pink Unicorn
This toy has a lot of potential. It's playful, does a lot of actions, and is just fun. I got this for my 3-year-old niece for her birthday, and she did like it... for a couple of minutes until she lost interest. That said, there are some issues that lowered this toy's score. First, I think this toy is too advanced for most 3-year-olds, and the minimum age is more like 4 or 5. My niece mostly just wanted to hold it and brush its hair, not use the controller to move it around or do actions. She didn't understand that she shouldn't pick up the item while it's trying to move because doing so can damage the toy and mess up its sensors. She didn't understand what makes the unicorn move (certain hand gestures, feeding it a bone, using the controller). She got a little scared when she tried to feed it a bone and the unicorn starting chasing her fast. Additionally, the controls and sensors are clunky and don't always work easily. The horn is the biggest problem because it sticks and it's hard to get it to move. You have to pull on the horn to turn the toy on/off and to change the various "modes," but you have to pull hard and at just the right angle. The controller was mostly intuitive and most of the buttons worked, but some did not. Again, sometimes you have to point the controller at just the right angle for the toy to respond. The unicorn is also supposed to move in response to hand gestures, but that feature just flat-out doesn't work. The only time the unicorn will move in response to your hand is if you feed it a bone by plugging it into its mouth. Finally, the controller doesn't come with AAA batteries, and trying to open it up is a big PAIN. The toy comes with a small screwdriver that's supposed to open up the back of the controller, but the screwdriver is too small and weak and I couldn't open it after spending 20 minutes trying. I was finally able to open up the controller with my own screwdriver that was slightly bigger. Overall, kinda disappointed with this purchase. It's a promising toy and my niece liked it OKAY, but it's not amazing. Again, I think 3-year-olds are too young for it, but 4 and 5 would be perfect. The price is a little high given the technical problems with the toy. ... show more

  • Okay make sure you read the instructions this is a really nice toy...
Color: Pink Unicorn
I got this toy for my granddaughter for Christmas, she opened it and it didn’t work so my daughter charged it up all day still didn’t work so she charged it again all night and still told me it didn’t work. I started a return on it and ordered another one to replace it I got it and read the instructions then I charged it (the face and eyes will turn red when charging) when it was done charging (the red lights in the face and eyes go off when it’s done charging) I turned it on (hold the horn in a downward position for a few seconds) and poof it worked and it did everything stated on the ad and video so I called my daughter and had her bring my granddaughter over to get it and bring the non working toy and guess what happened when I turned on the one that was supposedly not working? Yeah it worked! This all happened because no one but me read the instructions to find out how to actually use this toy. I bought the unicorn and you have to push the horn down (forward) while putting your thumb under the nose to hold it there and hold this position until it comes on (a few seconds) then add batteries to the remote and there you go it works. I rewrote my review because someone should have read the instructions prior to saying it didn’t work, this really is an awesome toy. My granddaughter is super excited and happy with it and I know she will have a lot of fun with this toy! ... show more
