The chair is really nice. I have the all black one. It looks great without being too "gamer" with annoying design choices that make it look childish. It's surprising light weight, but doesn't feel flimsy, which is great for me since I pick it up and move it close in front of my TV when I game and place on the side when I don't. I didn't want a chair with wheels since I have hardwood floors and I also don't want to be a bad upstairs-neighbor by rolling around everywhere. There are very limited selection of pedestal-type gaming chairs. Especially if you don't want to sit right on the floor or have some useless surround sound built into the chair. I want a nice chair that wouldn't look out of place in a living room. Not all gamers are YouTubers or children, some are just original NES-era gamers that want to unwind playing games after work without looking like they have a child in the house they can blame the ugly chair on. The way it reclines back is nice and smooth with any stiffness or too easily. There is a tension adjustment underneath if you need to adjust, that I haven't needed to mess with since it seemed good for me out of the box. My one complaint so far with the chair is that it squeaks and pops sometimes when I move on it. The noises sound like its coming from the pedestal stand area. I've taken the chair apart and re-screwed everything trying to make sure the screw was catching the tread correctly, which is tricky with the leather like material wrapping around the screw slots and needs to be pulled back while screwing in. And yet it still squeaks and pops sometimes when I move. Maybe once the chair is used more and broken-in, it'll settle. (being hopeful) I am also hoping it wont start to peel like my last chair from another brand. That chair's fake leather peeled constantly. Every day I would find fake leather everywhere. Fingers-crossed that this wont happen to this one. Even with my one negative, I would still recommend. ... show more

Right off the bat I want to point out that this chair is for console gamers, as the advertising clearly points out. It is very short (like 12-14 inches at the seat) so it will not work for a desk. To me it is the perfect height for console games. I bought a shorter tv stand and a 50in tv and I sit dead center to the tv, perfect. The chair rocks (leans back), spin, seems to be made of thick quality pleather and has vibrant colors to match my decor. The one negative, and it's kinda big, is that not all of the bolts/holes line up perfectly, as other reviewers have pointed out. It's not crazy off but I did have to wrestle a few and It caused the whole chair to be slightly out of square. I have mild ocd and this admittedly drives me a little bonkers, especially for the price. I don't really feel it being off when gaming but looking at it close you can tell it's a little wonky (the backrest leans slightly left). I even loosened the bolts and tried re adjusting but it's the holes themselves that are off. They need better qc at the factory. Overall it feels sturdy (some creaks) and is very comfortable for gaming so I still dig it, just know if you have a little ocd like I do it's not perfect and you might have to live with it. ... show more

I bought this rocker as this is only one of a few actual gaming chairs made for console gamers like myself and not a recliner or chair with wheels made for PC gamers. I’m not sure why they mix in the reviews for the RSP-900 which is the recliner version of this chair, but to be clear I’m reviewing the RSP-800 which is the rocker. I only gave this a 4/5 because after about an hour of sitting in the chair my butt starts to get sore and I can feel the frame through the seat. I weigh 210 pounds and the info for the chair states that it can support up to 275 pounds. Also, I’m 6’1” and the chair is a perfect height for my neck and torso, but if you’re any taller than 6’2” this chair is probably going to be too small for you. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: Great design, swivels very well without making a noise, the rocker is adjustable, perfect height for console gaming, material looks and feels nice, the leather is soft, armrests are the perfect height and can flip back, unbeatable price for what you get. Cons: No cup-holder like the RSP-900 has, no adjustable lumbar support, and the seat can be uncomfortable after prolonged gaming sessions especially with the minimal padding in the seat cushion itself. Overall, it looks amazing and is a great bargain console gaming chair. I don’t know why you’d buy a $300-$400 gaming chair that reclines because I like to be paying attention when I’m gaming not kicking back. I highly recommend, and will probably be purchasing a second chair exactly like this one once I get my man cave established. ... show more

This chair is super comfy I like that it rocks. This is my 5th chair from this company the other 4 were rolling office chairs 1 for myself and the other 3 were gifts and everyone loves these. I was confident that this chair would be comfortable like the rest of the chairs I’ve purchased. I think a lot of people probably won’t like the height but the height is fine with me it wasn’t much lower than my regular office chair. Putting it together was simple but putting the top on was a little bit of a pain just because it was difficult to get everything to line up trying to hold it in place and put the screws in by myself I think it would have been easier if the screws for the top of the chair were a little longer ... show more

Found this chair to be too low for my flight simulator. Purchased the "Short adjustable (extended height 9.8"/13.8") Hydraulic gas lift cylinder" from Amazon. Existing chair doesn't have a height lever but the new cylinder brought the cockpit seat to a perfect level for my flight simulator in the collapsed position. Also, I used a strap wrench to tighten the tilt tension adjuster. Now it doesn't rock at all. ... show more
