Second one I've purchased for student's desk computer chair. First one was different company and broke after couple of years. this is so far, so good and this chair is used A LOT, so mat has to be sturdy and withstand shifting weight while allowing for easy sliding of chair on top and protecting carpet. This product is decent for the price. I purchased better quality chair mats that fell apart within weeks of use. However, the mat has a bad plastic/chemical smell. Also, the chair does not roll; it sinks into thin plastic.

I was having back issues sitting at the dining room table in a solid teak chair so I purchased this one for my desk and has good lumbar support, is height adjustable, and armrest to support your arms should be sitting long at a desk working. It was very easy for one person to assemble. I did not rate it a 5 for durability as I have not had it very long. I would recommend a chair like this one to anyone who sends a lot of time working at a desk or computer.

I bought another one and this one and so I have something to compare it to. This one was not smooth, therefore the chair doesn't roll any easier on it than it did my carpet. The other one was more durable and heavy

Rollers sink into the plastic so I have to move around occasionally. If you're a heavy person, you may want to look for something more substantial. Only used it a few weeks so far, so will update after several months if there are durability issues.

My chair leaves indents in it and I have to physically move the chair around by getting up and moving it to a different spot on the mat. I would suggest getting something thicker to support the chair. My chair is a light 'secretarial' type of chair, not something heavy or bulky. I am a female and not at all overweight so the mat should support my chair better than it does.
