Love this little thing! I can move it anywhere in my iguanas terrarium @ any time. U can set it up in 2 different positions (see pics). The digits r easy to read and it’s super accurate. I’ve only had it not work 2x but I’m sure that dropping it in the drinking water didn’t help much. All I did was took the battery out for a while & it worked perfectly again. It’s way more cost effective than the ones that u stick on the side w/a sticky back. Once u take those off u can’t put them back on. The sticky back is a pain to get off the glass as well. If u want a clean, easy, effective way to monitor the heat & humidity of a terrarium this it the best option!! Only thing I would change is making it 100% water proof!

i’ve seen reviews that made me skeptical of getting this regarding it getting wet and not working. mine got wet during a move and sure enough stopped working, **BUT** i took out the battery, wiped it off, and left the thermometer in the sun to dry, and it’s good as new and still as accurate as before. i just bought a second one for the cold side of my ball pythons tank. she loves climbing on them and just hanging out and vibing and i love that i can keep an accurate track of her humidity/heat levels. definitely recommend !!! they can be a little hard to read in certain lighting but you can fix that by putting a piece of white tape behind it if it bothers you that much :)

Works pretty well tells the temps and humidity accurately. Had some trouble with it sticking to the glass of the tank after a few more tries finally got it to stay on the glass. Smaller than expected as well, imagined it to be alot bigger than it was.

My thermometer works, but the display is broken. While you can still read it if you really try, it's hard to tell. Sometimes a number will disappear all together, and other times the number will be partially missing. It's a really odd error in my thermometer. Edit: It turns out, the battery on my sysytem was just running low on juice. The unit came with one extra battery, and was quite easy to change out. It looks like I should have used my common sense before jumping to conclusions. Whoops!

Bought this hygrometer/thermometer for a terrarium. It is supposed to be placed inside, with a suction cup. Mine was so bad, it won't attach to the glass, even with an effort, it would fell off. The digits were barely seen. It is just a piece of cheap junk. Returned the item and do not recommend it. There's so much choice.

This was a nifty little thing and it worked great until it didn't. I went to check the humidity in my gecko's tank one day and the display was just gone. It seems like the battery died after just a few months of use. They did send an extra battery with the order, but I couldn't find it anywhere and just decided to go with a different brand. It probably would have worked again had I inserted a new battery, but if it was just going to die again after three months than it wasn't worth it anyway.

Not sure how all of these people are having problems, can only speak for myself but I love these! I have three split between two tanks and all three are still up and running, almost a whole year later! Suction is strong (my geckos climb on them all of the time). Hard to read at some angles but overall if I'm reading a thermometer, I'm close enough to read without issue. Accurate readings (I have tested with different thermo/hydrometers from different companies and all readings came up the within 1 degree, so I would say these are accurate). I would definitely recommend this product! (and two for anyone who has or wants a heat gradient in a tank. Has worked for me even in humidity!

I have multiples of these as I have 2 vivarium and they work great! I have 2 other temp readers in the vivariums and they are always within the same range as my others. They stick nicely to the class though they don't work on PVC, I would highly recommend if you need one for a tropical vivarium as they can withstand a decent amount of "rain" and are easy to read
