Wow, I am so impressed with my new 30x12x18 terrarium. It was intelligently packaged, compact and secure. Nothing was broken, and all parts were present. It went together quickly and easily due to the elegant simplicity of the design, and despite the sparse and generic (covers many models) instructions. But best of all, this terrarium is a solid piece of craftsmanship. The glass, as well as the plastic connector parts, are heavy and strong. All of the pieces fit together perfectly. I have a similar size Reptihabitat, and that thing feels like a cheap child's toy compared to this one. I have only one complaint, a serious but easily fixed problem. The top-right side has a seemingly clever adjustable port for getting wires or mister tubes inside. Unfortunately, if you aren't using it (there are six other well designed small ports around the top), you can't close it off all the way. A hole big enough for a young snake or anole to slip through remains. I'll have to plug it some way; not sure yet how, because silicone would be easy but permanent. All in all, I strongly recommend this terrarium. If you move, tearing it down would be easy, and it feels very well made. ... show more

Firstly, these ardived quickly and in excellent shape with excellent packing and were not overly heavy or awkward. Secondly, I'm a sucker for glass and multipurpose things. I looked at dozens of terrarium/vivarium/reptile habitat enclosures. I have been trying to upgrade my leopard geckos to an enclosure that would offer enrichment and interest for both them and my family. I looked at so many pvc, wood, mdf, plastic, diy, glass etc options. I just couldnt purchase anything that cant hold a spill or will warp, that bugs could chew, would be melted or scratched very easily or is purely plastic and flexible... I don't like the exo terra due to the wide plastic horizontal bar etc in the worst spot. But this terrarium that is stackable and can hold water if I choose and has really nice components...including wire organizer/keeper options and a tight fitting lid...its so nice. I love it. I bought the rock background 36x18" for the exoterra terrarium of the same size from universal rocks and I'm floored. Looks like a show piece. The gecko is essentially a decoration to the ecosystem on display now. I am so pleased with these. I will be buying another that is 36x12x18 to stack atop my other two. I think there is no better commercial option and honestly...not really a better custom option for the price. My one critique is that they do not have a kit for hiding the space between stacked units. So I will need to make something. I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of construction and sturdiness of these terrariums. In the future, I could easily change the enclosure and make a higher humidity ecosystem with a water feature or even fish. You cant beat these. What a fantastic enclosure. ... show more

Easy to assemble, no holes, and plenty of space for plants and decor. My new dragon seems to be very happy. Beautiful tank, very happy with it. It is sturdy and clear. I recommend!

It is easy to assemble and works great for my Bearded Dragon. He has ample space to move around. It is worth the cost and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a well made terrarium.

This tank is excellent. The set up looks crazy as soon as you open the box, but once you get going it’s pretty easy. I love that you can either open it from the top or two glass doors on the front. The tank is high quality materials all around, and it’s perfect for a snake!

Purchased this to house some leaf tail geckos. I will be setting up as bio active. I mention that because based on the listing I was concerned how waterproof the bottom would be since it was unclear if the entire thing needed to be assembled. The good news is that the bottom portion comes preassembled and siliconed ready for aquatic/holding water (see attached photo). It was very well packaged and easy to assemble. Start to finish it took me 30 minutes and most of that time was unpacking and removing the plastic wrap from the well packaged window panes.     • THE Worst Tank You Will Buy: DON’T!

Update: I returned and ordered a 2nd tank and IT LEAKS TOO! Don’t buy this tank. Returned and ordered a 3rd. Leaks. Everything down to the lock on the front door leaks, leaks, leaks. I typed out a 3 star review earlier today and decided to delete it but upon a leaking corner and a ruined wooden stand, I am downgrading to 1 star and publishing the review. My 3 star was going to include the fact that the two front doors do not line up top to bottom or in the middle. You have to finagle them to get them to close without being on top of each other and scraping against each other where they meet. The lock that keeps them closed is not going to last and is wobbly and not well attached to the tank. Tonight, I realized that my wooden entertainment center was bubbling and peeling…. Only to find a leak in the bottom corner. My fault for not testing for leaks on a different surface, but a brand new set up should not be leaking. Really disappointing to say the least, but now just extra disappointing with the whole top of our living room entertainment center bubbling and peeling from water damage. Tank is drained, drying, and I will seal it myself since the “professionals” couldn’t do so properly or test it themselves before shipping it out. ... show more
