This attachment is a life saver. I travel to Asia often so my US 110v Airwrap doesn't work in 220v and I am not buying a second airwrap. The hotel I stay in has the Dyson hair dryers, and it works great with my airwrap attachments. I do have to drop the power down a notch as it does get hot.

    • Yay! It worked with Dyson barrels on supersonic!
I tried the first version of this adapter n it didn’t work. Flimsy n barrels fell right off. Got this upgraded one with locking switch & it held up good 👍🏻 so glad I got it. 😄 Just don’t let it over heat ! Let your hairdryer rest in between n cool off a little.

    • Will Burn Out Dyson Supersonic Long Term
It’s does work however it OVERHEATED my Dyson supersonic. I thought it killed my dryer but hours later (after it had been unplugged and unused), I went to check on it and it worked again. FYI, the dryer is 3 years old and has never had this issue or overheated until I used this attachment. I’m sooooooooo sad as it does work but not worth killing my dryer.     • Wish there was a better option
A solid 3 stars for being an adapter that mostly works as intended. The magnets are weak/not enough so the adapter constansltjiggles of slips. If you use an original Dyson attachment, they can be heavy, so I have to hold the Supersonic where the adapter joins. Therefore, my reach is not as far and makes styling my own hair a struggle. ... show more

Got very hot when using it. So hot that I couldn't touch it. Fell out of the hair dryer nozzle while using it. I don't recommend it.

    • Excellent Tool with Practice
If you take the time to learn how to use it (YouTube and Reddit for me), this is an excellent tool for making curls at home. I use it before going to work and now a key and efficient part of my pre-work routine.

Works alot better than the other versions and its a better fit more snug than the ones without the locking mechanism. Also it doesnt overheat like the other ones.
