Description

The Mojave Reptile Lounge features front sliding, glass doors for easy access and cleaning, a large, mesh screen top to accommodate most UV and heat lamp set-ups and vented side panels for optimal ventilation. This reptile lounge habitat unit is made with ECOFLEX®, a proprietary composite blend of recycled polymers and reclaimed wood fiber by products that make up a durable and moisture resistant material. ECOFLEX® is easy to clean and does not retain odor. This unit is not watertight and should not be used for animals that need to have standing water in their enclosures. The top of the unit is wire mesh and intended to support heat and UV lamps. Customers can place heat/UV lamps on the wire portion of the top of the unit. Heat lamps SHOULD NOT touch the ECOFLEX material please refer to assembly instructions. Great for indoor or outdoor use. A habitat made for tortoises, arachnids, chameleons, scorpions, hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, small rabbits. Putting it together was fine. You have to take your time and really look at the pictures. Some of the instructions are a bit confusing and they really could have used more details on some of the pieces/parts. Other than that, I put it together in about 20 minutes. It is very minimalist, lightweight but sturdy. On the inside, it really looks quite spacious and I think my baby beardie will be happy in her new habitat. The first one came broken because UPS put it on the edge of the top landing of a flight of stairs and it fell. Either they or a neighbor put it up by my door so when I got home the box was in shamble and panels broken on the inside. I was surprised to see the one thing that did not break was the glass panels! I contacted Amazon about the issue and they promptly sent me a replacement. I am now just waiting on UPS to pick up the damaged one. This is a great product and Amazon customer service was very good to me. UPS needs to do better with fragile items such as this terrarium. ... show more

Was super impressed with this product. I was a little leery because of some of the reviews I read. But for the money I decided to take my chances and see what happens. Glad I did. Looks great and so easy to put together. Only took me about 45 mins to unbox it and assemble it. Seems to be very sturdy. The only issue was there was a small little scratch on the top. But for the price I was willing to let that go. Still looks nice and really don’t notice the scratch. ... show more

Overall it is a good enclosure. Fairly easy to assemble. Instructions are useless as I did it using common sense. I think they could have included steel bolts/screws instead of plastic as the plastic ones will crush into the plastic walls if tightened too much. The glass doors are very sturdy and slide well along with the make shift lock which isn’t fancy with keyed lock but keeps the glass from opening. Could be sturdier but it is decently solid. The mesh on top is a bit flimsy as I was expecting a thicker material. I would not put anything heavier than heat lamps. I am housing a juvenile Hypo Granite Burmese Python and he loves it. Very roomy and easy to clean. I would seal it with a waterproof caulk though as there are slight gaps on each walls/flooring where they meet. I would buy it again if they lowered the price. So overall not a bad enclosure. 7/10 🐍❤️ ... show more

The price is well worth the quality of the product. The screen on top is thick and when you put it together it's sturdy. Fast and easy setup maybe 15 minutes. If you use it for a snake add some time so you can silicone the bottom and make it watertight. 10 out of 10

We ordered this enclosure a few months ago based on another reptile Youtube channel who recommended it. We absolutely loved it. The quality, design and real glass with large viewing area sold us. We are a large family with biological, foster and adopted children who have done Sanctuary type work for over 30 years. We recently moved to a new area, bought land and are building a home and opening up a new base of operations. We needed about 20 of these enclosures to start, with way more likely needed later. I can build enclosures easily but that would take time away from Sanctuary work. When we found these enclosures we knew immediately we found an enclosure we could endorse and at a price point any person, business or family could afford. Most commonly found pet reptiles are found in stores, bought by families and these pets are brought home to live out their lives in tiny glass enclosures, this enclosure WAS the answer giving more space to encourage better husbandry. If anyone is looking to buy this for any deep substrate type reptiles, its still a decent buy. But, if you want this for Bearded dragons, leopard geckos, uromastyx, or any desert type lizard, It would be a terrible buy. First, the new viewing area is small. The old product had a beautiful area to see your animal, now that is gone. We reached out to the company and our hope was they would consider giving both options to consumers, but we were told, no this is the direction they are going. The point of having a pet is to be able to SEE it. In our case we have many special needs lizards born with blindness , missing limbs, the old and the sick, etc and we need to be able to check in on them easily. This enclosure now makes this impossible with a tiny viewing area that makes those horrible glass enclosures sold at big box stores look like the better buy. Second, if you are looking to stack these on a rack as we do, then the higher they go vertically the less you, the pet owner will be able to see your animal. If a person is sitting on a couch say, the tiny viewing area is not seen at all as its too high. Third, we can see this enclosure being challenging to clean. We built this new one and barely could even get into it to put our lizards items. Fourth, the mental well being of more social lizards would be affected by this enclosure. Our lizards WANT to see out. They want privacy at times, but I could never see putting any social animal in this enclosure as it would feel to them, I’m sure..a prison. I hate to write this review on such an excellent enclosure but I wanted to make sure people knew the reality of what they are buying. If the company offered both options then this enclosure would be in my opinion the 1# enclosure on the market in every category. In closing, if you can find the old enclosures, get them. If not, pass. Its just not a great enclosure for the most common pets out there. Update: We put the original NICE big window enclosure side by side with the updated tiny BAD enclosure side by side…the updated BAD enclosure is NOT 24 inches tall anymore, they cut it down over an inch and 1/4. This means if you want to add interior lighting please be advised this is not a true 4 x 2 x 2 anymore. We were told the enclosure was changed to accommodate snake owners but now we think it was a way to cut costs. Update Again…I have decided to raise my review to a 5 star. Everything I said above still applies BUT I chose to purchase 5 more new ones from competitor brand and I STILL love these enclosures more so we have chosen to purchase more of these again. I likely will modify these for our lizards special needs. We also have chosen to drop stacking 3 enclosures and choose to stack just 2 high. We do hope this company offers more options in the future for expansion, bigger sizes and more front glass. In the meantime I plan to rework these enclosures to make them work as we feel they are the best overall enclosure on the market. ... show more

Very attractive, it fits in great with a living room decor. Very easy to assemble, but I wouldn’t move it around too much. Glass sliding doors are very nice, but when assembling, I would place the glass door openers an inch away from the edge of the glass. Contrary to what the instructions show. We have only had this for 7 months and it's already falling apart. Two days ago I put a second heat lamp on top. I just noticed that the mesh has completely come off track! I've had other tanks it the past and the mesh was always sturdy, strong and unbendable! This is absolutely ridiculously! I have do idea what I'm going to do now! Such a waste of $300!! Also, one of the glass doors came scratched up. I contacted Amazon, but they said I would have to return everything and I was almost done building it so I declined.
