I bought this REPTI ZOO T5 HO UVB lighting kit for my bearded dragon, and it has made a noticeable difference in his activity level and overall health. The light is bright, consistent, and provides strong UVB output across the enclosure. It was also very easy to set up — the fixture is lightweight, the mounting clips are sturdy, and the bulb fit perfectly with no issues. Within a week of using this light, my beardie became more active, had a better appetite, and started basking more. The UVB strength is exactly what reptiles need for proper calcium absorption, and this kit delivers without producing excess heat. The build quality also impressed me — the housing feels durable and the cord length is convenient. This is definitely a great upgrade compared to cheaper UVB setups. I just recently bought this high-end terrarium light because it was said to last a year without stopping working. I spent a lot of money on this because I wanted to make sure my pet bearded dragon was healthy and happy. The product didn't live up to these claims, though, and stopped working after only a month of use. Performance and Experience with the Product: At first, the light seemed to be exactly what was said it would be. It looked like it gave off the full range of light, including UVB, which is important for my reptile's health. It fit exactly in my aquarium. But after a month, the light started to behave badly and turn off without warning. No matter how hard we tried to fix the problem, the light finally stopped working for good, much sooner than expected. What This Means for Lizard Health: This light's failure isn't just a matter of unhappy customers; it means bad things for lizard health. For many types of reptiles, UVB lighting is not a nice-to-have; it's a must. It is very important for making vitamin D, which is needed for breaking down calcium. Reptiles can get metabolic bone disease if they don't get enough UVB light. This is a very bad disease that can weaken bones, cause defects, or even kill them. The fact that this terrarium light doesn't always work right puts pets that depend on UVB exposure at great risk for health problems. For people who want to give their lizard pets the best care, a product failing in such an important way is not only upsetting, but also dangerous. Conclusion: This terrarium light's failure is unacceptable because it costs a lot and does a very important job. When someone buys something like this, they lose money and put their pet's health at great risk because snakes need UVB lights all the time. I can't suggest this product to other reptile lovers, and I tell people who are thinking about buying it to look at other, more reliable options to protect their pets' health and safety. ... show more

Very nice and bright for my custom cages I built, only issue I came across is the bulb burns out rather quick and they are a bit pricy to replace, not sure if its jus this brand in general but getting a different brand for the bulbs helped me
