  • Great camera
Style: SIM Card Included
Easy setup, first camera that works on LTE that I’ve tried. No issues

  • Works way better than expected
Style: SIM Card Included
I have lots of cameras in my home system, so I had a quality bar that I did not expect from this one because instead of running hardwired over ethernet - this uses a 4G network. However, I am pleasantly surprised about how well it works. Setup was easy - you have to got get a SIM card 1st. You cannot do anything without it. I got a pre-paid Tmobile card and everything worked right away. Picture quality is good. The motion detection is pretty good. I strongly recommend you also put a memory chip in it, that way it stores what is happening until you have time to check it out. The PTZ is "ok". If it had preset view points - it would be great. The solar charging is great. It has been running solid and battery is alway saying 100%. The microphone/speaker works - which was a real shock to me. I am able to talk to someone there at the site and we each understand each other. There is a delay - but it is workable. Only reservation is I have had it only a couple of months. Will have to update the review to see how it holds up over time. ... show more

  • It Works Good but All of Mine Broke between 350 days and 2 years
Purchased the product 350 days ago and the battery completely failed with no way to charge or restore function. These are good when they work but out of the 5 I have purchased, all 5 have failed within 1-2 years of service. And we keep ours in great condition and out of the weather. So beware that it will not last that long. You are essentially renting it. LOL ... show more

  • Pet Detection is Awesome
We've had WiFi Reolink cameras since late 2019 and love them. We wanted a stand alone cellular based camera for our remote cabin, to avoid loss of event alert sending in the event of power outage (small solar & battery energy system). The PT Ultra is the best Reolink we have had, so far. The 4k really does make a difference. And the "pet detection" feature works great for us, as the wildlife often trigger the camera. We like to see those clips, but we know we don't need to check the feed immediately when they trigger an event. The only thing I didn't like was the tree strap is WAY too short. But I have a bunch of game cameras that had extra straps and those work just fine. One thing of note if using in remote area with lots of wildlife, like we have, is that night events trigger a spot light, rather than infra red. The video is better, but wildlife will eventually stop coming near it. Pros and cons on that. ... show more

  • Works great, and easy to operate.
Picture quality is good for our purpose (monitoring live stock). Easy to install and charges great in good light, not so great in low light. App is slow to respond when controlling the camera, but happy with it compared ot other cameras we’ve had. Connection issues are a bit frustrating from time to time. ... show more

  • Remote Camera Worth the Money
This camera works great! We use it to monitor our driveway gate which is 1/4 mile from the house. This camera offers a great solution with a reasonable price. It has a great app and clear video quality. I highly recommend it.

  • Some features ok, others unusable
Style: SIM Card Included
The good: live viewing works decently. Motion detection is ok, solar panel charges well when pointed at the southern sky. HD Videos uploaded to the cloud are very smooth to watch. The bad: The "free" cloud based subscription needs to be manually renewed every month or you lose all you online videos. Also the cloud based subscription only uploads the first 8 second of videos from your camera even though the camera can record 30 seconds. The ugly: watching motion activated recorded videos is difficult and is often choppy when streamed from the camera to your phone, even with a strong cell signal. The obvious workaround would be to download the video and watch it on a phone or pc, but downloads greater than a couple seconds long fail 100% of the time. Customer service seems to know about this download bug but claims they can't do anything about it. Oddly, their software can upload videos to the cloud perfectly fine under the same cellular connection. But as stated above, the camera will only upload the first 8 seconds of video to the cloud. Also, the adjustable metal ball mount for the solar panel snapped the when I tried adjusting it the second time. Looks like super low quality metal was used. I had to tape my solar panel in place. Bottom line: this camera works well for live monitoring in remote areas, and for watching brief 8 second motion-activated video clips on the cloud but if you want to download and keep any videos to share with friends or law enforcement, look for a different camera. Also be very gentle when handling because the build quality is typical Chinese junk. ... show more

  • Love my camera!
At first it was a bit challenging for us to figure the camera out. It kept glitching and wouldn’t connect properly. After YouTubing some ways to get familiar with it we finally are able to enjoy it. My recommendation is to purchase the EIOT club SIM card and do the trail camera $96 7GB option. So you don’t have to continually keep adding gbts to your plan. Make sure to set it in an open area where the sun really helps it charge. Set your settings to your preferences. We use ours on our property where there is no internet or wifi availability so the SIM card allows it to connect to its WiFi and that is how we are able to see the contractors that come in and out. It also has the option of time lapse so I’m able to see the Timelapse of the construction, I think that’s pretty neat. ... show more
