Worked exactly as I needed it to. I was a little concerned it might break in a bad windstorm we had but this stuff held up perfectly fine. I DIY'd a LED tree together with this roll and the runs are about 12' in length with an LED light every 3rd hole. All the lights clicked into place no problem and none of them fell out. Not sure on proper mounting but I used carabiners on the ends to connect to a pole and stakes. It stayed flat all season which was great. The strip seemed to do perfectly fine this holiday season with no issues. I would recommend this project if you are looking for an LED string light holder. ... show more

The material feels heavy duty, it has resistance to stop the pixels from falling out and is a nice Matt black. And it’s a ton of mounting strip.

I used these strips for making a Mega Tree I nailed to my maple tree in my yard for my xLights Light Show this past Christmas season. The material quality is not as sturdy as the HolidayCoro material, but shipping was quick and it was cheaper. I have no complaints for how I used it and what I was able to accomplish. I'm not sure how long the life span will be, but I thought it was worth buying. I don't recommend taking the pixels out, then putting them back in multiple times as this will wear out the holes since the material is thinner than HolidayCoro's. In the photo, it is the tree shape to the left. I went with no spacing between pixels. 100 pixels per strand for a total of 10 strands. ... show more
