  • Very good versatile trail/security camera in a low cell service area.
The media could not be loaded. i have 4 of these. they work great in a very rural area. i dont have to worry about batteries. they have been on for over a year still going strong. i have to refill my eiot club sim card each year from over 500 miles away. only had to put varmint guard cable wrap on the solar panel to keep squirrels of the cable hot glues both ends. i use them for security on the farm house and for trail cameras in the woods. great pir sensor and great video. great product! ... show more

  • Nope!!
The media could not be loaded. Worked great for a few weeks, then reaction to the camera movement became extremely delayed. “Unable to connect to network” has been an issue. Did a complete restart and same issue, after a few weeks having the same problems

  • Great camera for monitoring construction site!
We bought this camera to help monitor our construction site, and it has been great. We did have an issue initially with the IR on our original camera, but the customer service we received was amazing. When the issue couldn’t be fixed, they replaced the entire setup with a new camera, which has worked flawlessly. We’ve used for the last 6 weeks, and we would definitely purchase again. The image quality is great, and you can see our whole site with the rotation abilities. We charged the battery once and since the solar panel has kept it at 100% even on cloudy days. We bought a us mobile SIM card with an annual plan for about $200 for the year with unlimited data, and it has works perfectly. Looking at the camera a few times daily has used less than 5 gb monthly. Initial setup was not the most intuitive, but if you actually read and follow instructions, it was easy. Overall highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good Cellular Trail Camera with Solid Solar Charging, but No Auto Tracking
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this camera to supplement two other Reolink cameras I already own. Those use Wi-Fi, but this one is mounted far enough away from the house that cellular connectivity was the only practical option. The cellular connectivity seems to work just fine, but I am in the middle of the suburbs. I imagine this could be an issue if you are using the camera somewhere more remote. Initially, the camera was set up to monitor an orange tree I planted in Florida while I was still living in Colorado. Over time, I realized multiple wildlife species regularly traveled through the area, so even after moving to Florida and no longer needing to remotely monitor the tree, I kept the camera in place for general wildlife viewing. The camera and included solar panel are mounted to a tree using the included strap, and installation was straightforward. Battery life has been solid. The solar panel does a good job maintaining the charge, though I would strongly recommend fully charging the camera indoors before mounting it so the solar panel isn’t trying to play catch-up. During a few stretches of overcast weather, I’ve seen the battery level dip fairly low, but it has never completely died. Image quality is generally very crisp, both day and night. The only times I’ve seen degradation are occasional humidity fogging on the lens, or very rarely when a spider spins a web in front of the camera likely attracted by the IR illumination used for night vision. My biggest frustrations are with motion alerting and animal capture. The camera often seems slow to recognize animals entering the detection zone. While I understand there will always be some delay with cellular push notifications, most animals have already moved out of the frame by the time I open the app. Compounding this, there is a noticeable delay between detection and when recording actually begins. Because this is not a continuous-recording camera, clips are limited to short bursts (roughly 8–30 seconds), and many recordings end up catching only the back end of the animal as it exits the frame. This leads to my main criticism. Although this camera offers pan and tilt, it does not support automatic subject tracking. My other Reolink cameras do, and it feels like a missed opportunity here. Even though I’m not using this camera for hunting, I am a hunter, and if I were scouting wildlife movement patterns, the lack of tracking would be a significant drawback. Unless you happen to catch the animal live and manually control the pan/tilt, you’re limited to whatever happens to pass through the fixed field of view. Overall, this is a capable cellular trail camera with good image quality, reliable solar charging, and flexible mounting. It works well for general monitoring and occasional wildlife viewing, but if your primary goal is detailed animal movement tracking, the lack of auto-tracking is something to seriously consider. ... show more

  • Works great for me
I know others haven't had a very good experience with this camera but for me it has worked flawlessly. The included solar charger keeps the battery at 100% at all times and I've had little trouble with connectivity. If it fails to connect on the first try it almost always connects on the second attempt. It's great for watching the progress of the new house build. ... show more

  • Camera is good, app is terrible
I’ve been using these cameras for about a month now. Overall I like the camera. It has good quality images, easy to set up, looks nice. However, with all that said, it’s almost completely unusable. The app is incredibly slow. The app constantly crashes or requires I close it down and reopen. Viewing live feed is just about useless as well, sometimes it works a little bit but most times doesnt. Opening any feature in the app takes forever. It works for security in a pinch if you don’t have wifi, but I would not rely on this for your only security. If the app functioned this product would get 5 stars. ... show more

  • Boat security camera use….
Using as a portable security camera for my boat at public parking spots. Eye in the sky option and makes it easy to check on or get alerts if anyone decides to mess with it. Also retains footage if needed. Battery life is plenty for overnights before charging. Picture quality is clear as can expect. Purchased a portable clip for trail camera to attach it to my truck to point back towards the boat. Sizeable coverage area around boat side-side walk area around it plus boat. Exactly what looking for. Also upgraded to the WiFi cloud tier one for access to more video and pic capacity during season. Excellent product for month one so far! ... show more
