we bought this over 3 different times and all three times it has been successfully working and is very sturdy. DISCLAIMER - its a toy meant for kids, if you would like a real safe, then this is probably not the one to get, it says in the name it is a piggy bank so it makes sense. To reset the password all you have to do is remove and insert the batteries for it to be reset to 0000. Great toy for kids to put their allowance or sorts of money in.

Unfortunately, my 8yo was robbed by a "not so friend" friend. I bought this and he loves that he can choose his pin and only he can open it. Also, put in wrong pin and a little alarm voice will let you know 😉
