    • You have to understand how to charge this correctly
As long as you don't continuously charge, this is great. I had bought one of these almost annually because the batteries kept dying. I had not understood that these have a simple 'dumb' charging system. You only charge them when the battery is nearly dead and then have to pull them from the charger immediately once full. Changing how I charge this, my current one has lasted a couple years now and only needs to be charged once a month or so. -1 star for not having a better charging mechanism. But really for the price and what you get, this is all you need. ... show more

I needed a new "below the waist" trimmer. I'm a female. I read tons of reviews and couldn't decide between two, so I bought both. One was the Remington Ultrastyle Total Grooming Kit, PG6111 and the other was MANSPOT Groin Hair Trimmer. They each have pros and cons. REMINGTON: Pros - I can trim in any direction to include holding the device backwards where the on off button is facing my body. Cons - It doesn't come with a cleaning brush. Doesn't shave as close (with no attachments) compared to the MANSPOT. MANSPOT: Pros - It shaves very close compared to the Remington (with no attachments). It comes with a cleaning brush. Cons - One of the blades is plastic, even tho the description says it's ceramic. I feel the blade will eventually break. You can only shave in one direction, so you can't get into the delicate areas as easily. You can't position the device with the power switch facing your body. It's a toss up for me, because i love the close shave the Manspot gives me, but I also love how the remington can get into my more delicate areas easier. I'm keeping both since I missed the return window, but if I had to chose one, it would be the Remington. ... show more

Ordered a shaver. Charged, trimmed my beard, plugged in to the charger again. 4 days later, dead. Light came on when charging. But the trimmer was dead. Ordered a replacement, used once for ten minutes and when trying to use today, dead. Two of the same units, both dead after one use. That’s a 100% failure rate on a product that needs to be dependable for a morning routine. Junk ... show more
