Just got a new metal back door with 19" W window. These 25" blinds are great. The magnets are for sure very powerful and upon opening I accidentally set them next to each other and they attached with force! I had to research how to unattach, just twist them laterally and that gives enough leeway. Installation was simple. I first put cardboard behind the magnet and against the door per another review's suggestion but it didnt hold well. So I used a very thin Styrofoam to create a slight buffer against the pull of the magnet to the door. Attached the blinds to magnets, got on step stool, held at angle until I was level, then tilted the magnet towards the door. Easy. Blinds pull up and down nicely and the bottom magnets are much easier to readjust as needed. Some reviews say the actual blinds are thin and flimsy. Yes, they are thin and very lightweight but they serve their purpose. I am very pleased that I didn't have to drill into my new door or tape something against it.

First be aware when you purchase them that these are light filtering and not light blocking! They are very easy to put up. The magnetic bracket at the top works very well and holds to a steel door very securely without moving. To prevent them from flapping around when the door opens and closes, there are also magnetic holders at the bottom. They are cordless and you can move them up for full View by simply grasping the bottom and pushing straight up. The blinds do not completely close against each other when you use the rod to turn them. I am okay with that because from the outside no one can see in even though I can see an outline of things from the inside out. They are vinyl blinds and hopefully should be easy to clean. If you are looking for a simple way to replace door blinds on a full View door, this is it! It is an economical way to buy yourself some time until you can afford a new door.

My sweet children broke the blinds in our front door. I needed a quick fix to prevent people from being able to see inside our house. I read the reviews and decided to give these a try. I’m sure glad I did! What a great value! The blinds were super quick and easy to install and solved my problem right away. The magnets are extremely strong so I can’t imagine they would fall down.

I took my old cheap magnetic blinds down and easily placed these sturdy bottom secured magnetic blinds up that were easy to secure and much sturdier and higher quality than my old blinds without having to drill in my steel garage kitchen door.Tge door is a high traffic area and they are very secure on top and bottom and easy to adjust.We have had them up 2weeks and they still look as beautiful as ever.

I am quite impressed with these blinds, I wish I had purchased a long time ago. I installed them on my back door which has a window and we get a lot of summer sun thru the door which adds heat to the house. So I was looking for something to block out the suns heat but adding a nice look as well, and these blinds work perfectly for that. The magnets are very strong, I was quite surprised with their strength and I am confident because of that, that the blind will hold up nicely. I absolutely love the fact that also included are two smaller magnets for the bottom of the blind so that they don't slap against the door when the door is opened and closed. It's nice to leave the slats opened in the daytime to let some light in but then close them at night for privacy and again these will be great for blocking out the summers heat and bright sunshine. The only con, and reason for 4 out of 5 stars, is that the slats feel thin and I fear them breaking easily but hoping they don't. This would be a caution for children using the door and being rough on them. Other than that one con, these are great blinds, very easy to install, and I am very happy with them and glad I purchased.

I don't write many reviews anymore, but this product really compelled me to rave about it. Cost-wise, it's on the expensive side, it's fairly light weight plastic and I wouldn't say it's exceptionally durable. BUT, it does what it says it does. The magnet attachments are STRONG. It attached firmly and easily to the door frame and did not move when I opened and closed the door. Not even a wiggle at the attachment site. The lower magnets were strong enough to hold the blind to the door, but still allowed for ease of removal. Out of the box, it took me 1 minute to assemble this product (attach 4 magnets to the frame and attach the hook) and was doing it's job with a grand total of 2 minutes invested. I was absolutely thrilled. I wish more companies would take pride in what they are selling.
