Description

In The Game of Life Junior game, kids embark on an exciting family vacation. Players choose their mover a car, train, ship, or a plane and head off to their chosen destination. They could visit a jungle, the beach, or even a castle! Earn money towards the win with Animal Action cards. Players show off their skills such as walking like a penguin or making a fish face. An Activity Action card can also earn cash. They encourage kids to engage in conversation about their favorite experiences and other fun topics. • Great classic game for kids
This classic game is made just for kids. It's easy enough for my 6 year old to understand. It comes with cute vehicle pegs, lots of fun cards, and is very colorful. We get through the game in about 20-25 minutes. Would definitely recommend. This is probably one of the funneat kids board games in this brand. ... show more

  • Very similar to the adult life game
Very easy game for my 4-year-old and 6-year-old to play. for family game night this is one that everybody likes to do. it is similar to the life game for you can pick two different routes to go around the board but with this game it's whoever gets to the end first kind of ends the game and then you count up your monies. For the bank there is only the dollar. So you don't have to worry about numbers and stuff you literally just have to count how many pieces of paper you got. Then for each spot you either get a paycheck or you get an action card in the action cards there are some negative and mostly positive. The little pieces are easy to grab and move. And the kids get excited. The only thing that I don't like is we have played a game where we have all made it around the board without any penalties so we got to the point where we ran out of money. So we had to get creative I don't think that is necessarily always the case. But I wish they would have given enough money for all four players to start with their money go through all the paydays and not lose anything. Because then it would have enough. But I think the game is intended to have penalties and people paying but that doesn't seem to happen very often. So we did run out of money and that is the only downfall I think with this set. Otherwise I think it is a good game for my young children to play with me ... show more

  • Love it!
This is a great version of Life. There are easy to follow instructions, and it's fun for both kids and adults to play. Only downside would be the spinner pops off if you're not careful. We have to hold the board and spin gently so it doesn't come off.

  • Great game
This is a great game. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. It is a great shorter version of the original. The activity cards are fun, which can help work with conversation as well as just having fun.

  • Grandson loves it!
It’s nice to have board games for younger kids. My 6 year old grandson loves this and always wants to have “game night” when he’s over. Hopefully it will help build a desire to play games with actual people around a table sometimes. I like video games myself, but too much is not a good thing.

  • Not a simplified version of the original LIFE game!
I bought this for Family Night to play with my grandson. I was expecting a simplified version of the actual game of LIFE, but this is NOTHING like it. At the beginning of the game, you are given two "destination" cards and you choose one to keep and one to return. They have different $ values. On the board there are a few spaces which require you to draw a new destination card, exchanging the old one. That's all you do with those cards. At the end of the game, the dollar amount represented on your destination card is added to your total "wealth." There are also "action cards." These basically drive the game. After spinning the wheel, you move your vehicle (train, plane, station wagon, ship) a certain number of spaces. Most of the spaces require drawing an action card. The action cards generally ask trivia questions and ask you to imitate animals or their noises. (Walk like a crab. Show how fast a cheetah runs. What sound does a horse make?) After performing the action or sound required, you keep the card to "cash in" at the end of the game. If the purpose of the game is to teach animal trivia, this is the game for you. If you are looking for a simplified version of the original LIFE game, take a pass on this. Honestly, I would not purchase the game again. ... show more
