So far so good. I bought this one for me and one for my mom. So after my mom had gone through 2 freezers and now on a third we needed a way to monitor the temperature without having to open the door. Where these come in. After all previous freezers stating high temp and the only way to gauge the temperature was from a really old analog thermometer I found these. Now I got mine first put batteries in the gauges a the reader and threw on in my stand up freezer and the other in the fridge freezer. I then watched that bad boy go into monitor mode and eventually made it down to the temp I was pretty sure it was and didn’t have to open the freezer while monitoring Now I got to my moms house she had batteries for the reader not the gauges so when I put the batteries in the gauge it didn’t want to connect so took batteries out of everything and then back in. Now I did the exact same thing with her gauges as far as some where that we didn’t need to worry about them till it was time to replace the batteries again. Now I watched those little gauges work their magic and put the reader on top of the freezer since they wanted to be able to easily see it and the reader slide on the door. Well I looked at the analog gauge in the freezer and it definitely wasn’t working anymore and also found the issue with when it stated high temp after opening the door(freezer). Fixed it and zero issues so far since. It is simple to use. Easy to read the reader and great buy. The magnet is not too incredibly powerful for the door but mine sits happily on the side while the parents sits on the top of their freezer (short enough for that) with the stand. Same time bought same model just different areas for the reader. Would I recommend this yes especially for those who want the right now satisfaction and don’t want their reading tied to a phone or having to open the door to read the temperature (definitely counterintuitive to the process. So works great especially for the older crowd and middle aged folks who are not looking to download another app

EXACTLY what I needed! I have medication that requires refrigeration within a narrow range. This allows me to measure the temperature inside my refrigerator without having to open the door. It also measure minimum and maximum temperature fluctuations within a 24 hour period. It also has an alarm to sound if the Temps go above or below my set parameters. It comes with 2 sensors so I can explore different locations inside the fridge. This is also handy for over the road. I can monitor temperatures inside a cooler or, in my case, I have a 12v portable cooler. It eliminates any guesswork. I just got it this afternoon, so we'll have to see about long term durability. But as of right now, I really like it. I have a couple other thermometers to verify the accuracy of the sensors.

This thermometer is awesome. The color display makes it even easier to tell the two readings apart. The digits are large and easily readable from some distance. The AAA batteries in the display take over for the electrical power in case of a power failure. Resettable all-time and 24 hour maximum/minimum readings are very handy to track defrost cycles. This is the best refrigerator thermometer I ever owned.

This product is very good at connecting over long distances. The display is very easy to read. The 2 levels of backlighting is awesome. The only issue is the 2 supplied sensors read about 2 degrees F different. The first thing I did was put both sensors side by side in the fridge for several hours. I later put both sensors side by side in the freezer for several hours. In both fridge and freezer the sensors read differently. Since I only use these sensors in freezers I feel comfortable using them. I would not feel comfortable using them for refrigeration. 2 degrees F is a big discrepancy for a refrigerator. I absolutely love this product for my applications and you can't beat the price.

Great thermometer. Easy to set up and read. Now the next time the electric goes out I will know when and for how long to run my generator so my food doesn't spoil. Thank for a great product at a reasonable price.

I ordered these thermometers to monitor temperatures in my RV refrig. They came on time as promised . They look of decent quality and come with no batteries. The base unit took 3 AAA's and the two sending units each took 2 AA's for a total of 5 batteries. They have been in my residential refrig. for about 1 week. They appear to work fine. Next week they will go to the motorhome as intended. As others have wrote, the base unit is magnetic but has a tendency to slide down the refrig. It does have an eyelet on the back to hang it on a nail which is what I will do in my motorhome. For now it gets a 5 star rating.

Got this for a stand-up freezer that has acted up on us a couple of times after a power blip. We've got one sensor in the top drawer and the 2nd sensor in one of the lower drawers. Setup was a breeze - add batteries to the sensors and main display unit (batteries not included, mix of AA and AAA needed). Both sensor paired automatically. It took about 20 minutes or so for the sensors to get the final reading. Easy to setup the alarm for both sensors with min/max temps. Can turn the alarm off or on with the press of a button, each sensor has separate controls for the temp range and the alarm on/off. There is a magnet on the back of the display unit, but not strong enough to hold the unit tight. It slides down the front of the freezer. We added a fridge magnet below it to keep it from sliding down. Display is nice and large, and with the press of a button it can be backlit with color panels. We compared the temps to another non-electronic freezer monitor and they were both within 1 degree of each other. Good accuracy.

This was a replacement fridge thermometer, we LOVE it... it is much, much better than our old one. It has a really nice bright temperature display, easily visible from across the room.
