Great camera. Pretty easy setup. I like the touchscreen and the connection to an app is a Nice bonus so you don’t to remove the memory card to view the clips. My car cig lighter is always on so I killed my battery the first day. It doesn’t go into Parking mode without the hardwire kit. I contacted customer service and they sent me a hardwire kit. The hardwire install is not terrible if you have a multimeter and have some basic electronics knowledge. After that was installed the camera now goes into a low power mode when the car is off and only turns on for short clips when the G-Sensor is activated. This is the perfect setup and haven’t had a dead battery since. I would recommend this camera. ... show more

I got one of these as a replacement for the old version and after I tried it for a week or so I loved it so much that I ordered another one for my sister as a gift for her new car so I have 2 of them it's worth the price easy to use and clear view even in the night image quality real good and there are many options for the resolution and the app is great better than other dash cam I used before plus the costumer service absolutely awesome in many ways fast response to my messages, fast replacement also I asked for wires kit and got 2 on the way now to use this dash cam 100% I recommend it 100% best dash cam with the best costumer service ever ❤️ ... show more

This dash cam was easy to install. I really liked the tool to help with hiding the cord and the extra clips for holding the cord. It has a great picture with a wide view. Easy to navigate settings after working with it for a few minutes. The only thing I found really aggravating, was trying to connect the camera to the app. It shouldn't be this hard. I had to turn off my VPN, android auto, and mobile data. I also had to keep turning on the wifi on the camera. The camera kept disconnecting from the app. The app worked great while it was connected. There should be an easy work around for this. Imagine trying to connect to the camera and pull up video right after you've been in an accident. It takes several minutes to connect. ... show more

    • Red Tiger F7N Touch is a game changer!
I've been using the Red Tiger F7NP for a while and it's performed flawlessly for me. I do deliveries, so a dashcam is a must, and I did a deep dive in the marketplace before opting for the F7NP. For my needs, it had the best features and video quality for the money by far. But my only complaint, like many others, was the clunky user interface that required a whole lotta scrolling through menu options using the up & down arrows on the side of the unit. The F7N Touch is basically the same product, but the upgrade to a touch screen makes selecting options and video clips painless and simple. The touch sensitivity is perfect, and you can use the up, down and Okay icons on the screen instead of the physical buttons. I set up the new unit in a fraction of the time before my first test drive, and making changes during a trip is easy (safety permitting, of course). Even turning on the WiFi is a lot easier than before, a common complaint among some users. Overall, the F7N Touch needs to be at the top of your list if you're shopping for the right cam. ... show more

The camera has a security issue, it displays the wifi password on the screen which makes it visible to anyone, and easy to hack. Contacted REDTIGER and they confirmed that wifi password can't be hidden and supposed to only display the original password but every time I changed the password, it displayed the new. Surprisingly, the Redtiger F7N Touch was an easy installation and highly recommended. Hiding the power cord was the hardest part. The touch screen is very convenient and the picture quality is crystal clear both during the day and at night. If you are looking for simplicity, this is the right camera. When you turn on the car, the camera's activate and you do not have to do anything. Even obtaining and watching a video from your phone was easy.
