I love this dash cam! I bought one in 2024 and gave it to my mom when we both got new cars. I tried others dash cams and all were returned for various reasons and finally I said “what was I thinking?? This one was great!” (Doesn’t have touchscreen or voice control but honestly not really missing much with those) Installation: very easy to install by yourself. You do not need to go to a shop or have a lot of car knowledge or experience. If you have a friend to help, all the better so you can have them hold the front camera as you place the rear 😊. Super fast to install. Now, a few things that make the difference between this dash cam and others: *3 channels with loop recoding donations up to 5 minutes. All cameras record simultaneously (unless you turn the inside off then only back and front) and can do single view or split screen. If you don’t want the inside camera on you can go into the settings and turn it off. Love the inside camera when I have my friends kids in the car or my nephews so I can watch them and also a deterrent to them acting up knowing they are on camera *all 3 cameras are super clear!! Even if you are driving into the rising or setting Sun, it won’t mess up the recording. Back cam is great for additional backup camera as well as seeing who is riding your bumper. Inside is great if you have kids or want to record a fun trip with friends or an important conversation (those who know know what I mean) *Records speed as well as date and time stamp: great if you need that to help you out of a ticket. Also has built-in GPS. All this records without it blocking the screen with numbers and symbols (wifi symbol, mic, memory card, speed, time…) unless you watch the recording and it is a small text on the bottom. I have tried others where it doesn’t go away, numbers and symbols an over the screen and you can’t see squat. *Screensaver: this just turns the screen off after the set amount of time. You can’t change it in the settings or if you don’t want the screen turning off during the day but do at night you can just touch the power button on the side (don’t hold it) and the screen turns off but cameras stay on. I don’t drive too much at night but when I do it is a great feature so you don’t have additional light interference while driving. Others I have tried did not have that feature. Had to go into settings each time to change it. *G-Sensor: not too sensitive like a lot of others (hit a pebble and it locks the even like an accident). The sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings, I keep mine on low so it doesn’t go off when I go over bumps. Most of us don’t live on pristine roads and having a sensor that goes off from railroad tracks to manhole covers to a dip in the road…turning it off is pointless, you want this feature if you get into an accident so it won’t be recorded over if the memory card runs out of space. *IR and nighttime: this isn’t the worlds best BUT unless you want to spend $300-$500 it won’t be. It is really good! At night I can get a great view of what is behind me, not a lot of glare, also great for an additional backup camera at night and in bad weather. Inside camera at night works really well. I originally had it in a 3 row Pilot and could see into the 3rd row without an issue at all. * Parking safety: starts recording if someone leans on your car, taps it or breaks in (don’t use that bc you need another part to have that work but great to have the option of you are worried about where you are leaving your car) *Volume: can turn the mic off so you aren’t recording all conversations (or your VERY off key singing haha) The App: I don’t really use it bc my phone connects to my car via Bluetooth and having to switch back and forth and then I don’t have my hands free capabilities. It does help when installing the cameras to make sure the positions are exactly where you want them before sticking them on the glass. It is also nice to have so you can download videos from the camera right to the app so they don’t get recorded over and you don’t have to take the card out. And you have them stored if you ever need them for other reasons say court for tickets or accident reports. Seriously, I have recommended this camera to a lot of friends and other family members. I would not have put one in my mother’s car if I didn’t trust this camera!!!

This REDTIGER F17 3-channel dash cam is exactly what I was looking for. The front, interior, and rear cameras all have great video quality — super clear during the day and still very usable at night. Being able to cover every angle gives a lot of peace of mind, especially for work and daily driving. Install was pretty straightforward, and everything you need is included. The wiring took a little time to run clean, but once it’s set up, it looks great and works flawlessly. I also like the wide-angle coverage and how easy it is to review footage. The system runs smooth and starts recording automatically every time I start the truck. Overall, this is a solid, reliable dash cam setup for the price. If you want full coverage and good quality, this is definitely worth it!

This camera is very easy to install and use. The video quality is excellent. I added the hardwire harness, which is a separate purchase, to be able to use the parking security mode. This is a great feature that activates if your car is hit or broken into. I give it 4 stars because the camera stopped working after I tried to replace the supplied 64gb card with a 256gb. The camera would turn on, and all the menu buttons functioned, but when formatting the SD card, it kept saying the card could not be formatted. Without formatting or recognizing the card the camera while not record. I contacted customer support, and they sent me a Redtiger 256GB card to replace the 64gb. That did not work. I contacted them and they shipped me an entire new system. I received it today, and the replacement camera now recognizes the 256gb card, and is working fine. I only needed the main camera, because the original wiring is already installed through my cars body trim, with the rear camera mounted. They advised just to put the bad camera in the new box with all the new wiring and send it back that way; no need to return original wiring. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and ease of function of the R17. (It's rare to have problems with electronics, but it does happen. I just drew a bad one this time.) As far as support, it was excellent. Each step, the SD card replacement, and then the camera replacement, were very quick. Two-day shipping for each event. This camera is one of the top rated for its price and I highly recommend this system for those who want the security of a 360° video eyewitness. When it comes down to, he said she said, the camera never lies.

The camera is amazing and installation is a breeze. Comes with the little tool to slide the wires under the moldings, enough wire to easily go through a whole 8 seater minivan with wire to spare. . But the customer service on this product is unheard of. If this camera ever breaks I won't deal with any other company. Amazing warranty also. Just a 5* company.

The Camera is great. Excellent and crisp image on all front, back and inside camera. The connection with the app requires direct wifi connection to the camera (requires turning on wifi in the camera holding a button because it is not always on), the connecting the phone, but ALSO turning off Bluetooth on the phone or they do not pair up. That is kind of cumbersome, but once used to it you are good. Now, unfortunately my camera turns off randomly multiple times…for no reason. Every time I have to disconnect the power and reconnect for it to turn on. Most of the time is on, but then it just turns off for no reason (not heat, not incorrect connection) and that makes it unreliable. **** UPDATE***** Customer service reached out and guided me thru troubleshooting, and also offered a refund. After troubleshooting I was able to determine that it is the male 12v plug that with the car vibrations, does not fully stay in place and power is interrupted. I tested it with a different USB C cord from another power source and it works just fine. So, if you have similar trouble with yours, it is not the camera, it is actually the power plug that does not stay in place. UPDATE 2: during a traffic incident (the front car pulled the brakes mid road for no reason ON PURPOSE, i guess for insurance scam) and I said “luckily i have the dashcam”. Turned the car back on to DOWNLOAD the video and BOOM, i see a sign that says PERIOD: FORMAT IN PROGRESS. The camera decided to FORMAT THE SD for absolutely NO REASON. No warning, not full…nothing. For some reason mine was stuck AUTO FORMATTING every time it turned on and I did not realize before (god knows why this would happen). I had to restore to defaults for it to stop deleting the sd card. I believe what happened is that at some point the SD was full and the camera decided to auto delete and then got stuck auto deleting every time it started. Insane. Fact is, i got scammed with a car that pulled the breaks in front of me, and the one proof I had of the situation GOT VANISHED. Not a reliable camera. Setting my review back to ONE STAR due to this.
