The product seems to be fairly good quality, but the latch doesn’t open wide enough to accommodate the pin on the Dometic A&E 8500 awning.

Although this says it fits the Dometic Sunchaser Lower Awning Arm, the pin on the Dometic arm is larger than the spring clamp opening. Fortunately there was enough meat on the nose of the spring clip that I was able to trim it down with a zip disk. On the plus side the mounting holes fit exactly where the old bracket was. ... show more
