Bought this awning for our car trailer that we converted into an RV. Install was pretty straight forward. After reading other reviews I was expecting the directions to be confusing, but they are actually pretty well written. You can tell they were written by someone overseas, but still very understandable. My biggest mistake was watching other YouTube videos and doing some things others had done. It was just extra unnecessary steps. Only complaint I have is the pull strap is very cheap. I don’t see that lasting very long, especially the end that is exposed to highway winds. Would buy again.

I got this awning for a 5th wheel and before I even opened the box I saw that they had lowered the price so I contacted them about a refund. Within days they had refunded the difference. The awning is very similar to most of the others you see available. I'm pretty sure they use the same supplier and put their name on it which is fine by me as it is constructed well. My only complaint is the instructions. They are not well written and I ended up watching Youtube videos of installations of the same awning under a different brand name and it went OK. I did most of it by myself but its a two-person job when its time to install the roller between the frames. It looks like it will last as it is very sturdy and it was machined well. All the holes and bolts were aligned properly and I didn't have any issues.

This unit directly replaced our A&E awning, which was blown off our RV in a freak wind. Instructions are odd, but there are a number of U-tube vids to check out. It operates a bit differently than A&E but nothing one can't adjust to. We do have a problem with it rolling up properly, as the arms that cover the brace arms when retracted are very close tolerance, and one side or the other usually hangs up. The roller is holding it tight enough to travel though. Overall, it is a great awning, and given that Dometic bought out A&E and has cheapened those awnings like they do with every company that once had a good reputation, Suncode will be my go to company for awnings in the future.

They just need better communication. Originally I posted negative because my order was not complete. When attempted to contact, it was email only and auto reply said it may take 2 days for responce. They responded within 6 hours saying there was 2 shipments and the remaining order will arrive Thursday. They should communicate better letting customers know part of the order will be late. If I would have known, I wouldn't have started the project. I changed to 5 star because it is a good quality product.
