We use this dish almost everyday. So far it has been great. My only concern was that the lid is very thin glass. It is holding up, just have to be careful.

Very pretty for table settings at dinners. Love handles and the top. Deep but not massive. Somewhat heavy but handles are sturdy and help.

    • Good, but delicate lid
Love the size, love the handles that make it easy to carry. The thin, delicate lid will not survive. I thought I would break it during the first use. It’s only a matter of time & it’s the weakest thing about this dish.

    • Love the side handkes
I bought this dish for safety reasons. We have a larger oval dish with the side hand grips but it doesn’t have a lid. Since it is now just me and my mon I wanted a smaller casserole dish that was safer and easier to use in the oven and microwave. The lid on this one is thinner than the lids on other corning-ware French white dishes I have. Since I just now opened the box I will have to wait to see if the lid is going to work. Mom dropped the lid, it didn’t break but the knob did. Now it has a plain metal knob which is ugly, it’s just me now since mom remarried so really don’t need 2. I also have the ones with a full glass lid, wishe the lids were interchangeable since the opdish with the better kid does not have handles. ... show more

    • Easy to clean, nice intermediate size, and stylish
Wanted a casserole dish in this size. My wife was irritated because we both went looking and I found the best one. The rimless glass cover makes checking efficient and the quality can’t be beat. Corning, Inc. sold this business decades ago, but World Kitchens has sustained the quality and aesthetic.
