V manufacturer, so he 100% knows how to measure the awnings that being said the awning was about 2 inches Shy regarding The width So you might want to keep that in mind when or mine could have just been flawed? After watching many awning replacement videos, installing this was easy despite the 19' size! My wife and I were able to replace the old awning and get everything back to how it was quicker than I expected. It still looks like new after one year. The construction quality is very good and the size was a perfect replacement.
