A few years ago, I sampled a seriously gorgeous scent that I could never afford to buy a full bottle of. The minute I sprayed Her Confession, I had a flashback, but couldn't place what it reminded me of. I was getting a lot of coconut-vanilla combo and... then it hit me. This is Blanche Bête but lacking the cacao and having more of the musk in it. Also, as with ALL my Lattafa scents, I need to let this set unused for some time before it fully blossoms - sometimes, that is a few weeks and sometimes it is a couple of months, but they always get better. (I am noticing that this one gets better every few days! It gets a bit sweeter and the other notes come out more so that the coconut is not so dominant. Can't wait to see what it's like in a few weeks!) When I look this up, I see that the main accords are said to be: vanilla, white floral, amber, tuberose, musky, warm spicy, powdery, sweet, floral. The top notes: Mystikal (earthy, smoky, resinous) and Cinnamon. Middle: Tuberose, Incense, Jasmine, Mahonial (floral). Base: Vanilla, Tonka, Musk. Of all of that, I am not yet getting any loud florals but I know they are there somewhere. As I said, this has the coconut that dries down quickly (thank goodness!). The vanilla lingers and takes over the underlying notes that I can't place. I recently learned that this contains the Mystikal note that is also in B.B. I'm not familiar with it, but I think it must be what made me love Blanche so much. I can't wait for this one to age a little. I will have to try to remember to update. I can say now that the longevity on this is ridiculously good! I sprayed it on my arm one morning and it was still there (as a noticeable skin scent) in the morning after & before my shower. About the packaging: I think that I love the Lattafa packages more then some of the scents. This one is oddly pretty and a bit playful. Clear the atomizer and let it sit a couple weeks or longer. I'm not gonna lie this scent I did not like it at first.I thought it was too plain and powdery, but as it marinated it became warm and sexy, rich and sensual. This scent will layer with almost almost everything in my vast collection. I love to base coat with this and then go in with Kay Ali Wedding Silk or 28 or both, makes an unforgettable sexy impression, people always tell me I smell good. And after those expensive fragrances fade this one is still there at the end of the day... it's also a great hot out of the shower before bed scent. Very warm and clean scented. ... show more

I’m pretty picky when it comes to perfume, but Lattafa: Her Comfession really surprised me! Before purchasing this one, I did my research. I was kind of expecting it to smell like Dove Shea butter body wash, as people say this smells clean and kind of soapy, BUT it doesn’t smell like soap or lotion to me. The vibe I get from this fragrance is a classy businesswoman on vacation at a luxury resort. Don’t ask me why it’s not in the scent profile, that’s just what it makes me think of. There is a little bit of a new plastic smell in the opening, but not in a bad way, and it dissipates quickly. I have never in my life opened such a beautiful package like this one. Bottle came in a gorgeous hard box with a gorgeous quote. It smells very vanilla and sweet, but a pleasant scent.
